I'm glad you all enjoyed your time there. I re-visited Detroit in 2019 too. I was also in the downtown part. I went during their River Days Event during the 3rd weekends in June. It was interesting, but that year they didn't have exciting carnival rides like they use too which really hurt me emotionally. They had an entertaining air and water show however.
