My favorite thing to fish is points. I’ve been fishing a lot of old strip mines lately. I would love to hear your experiences on strip mines if you have any. I’ve found it to be very fun because it’s so different than lakes and rivers. Usual depth is around 60 feet and the banks go straight down pretty much. Water is crystal clear probably 6-8ft clarity.
Just realized randy has 2 channels lolll , should address that more. Because when you say “hey guys subscribe” I always assume I am , but really just in the other channel ( advanced fishing w randy or whatever it is lolll)
Fishing this week in Canada and trying to teach my 9 year old the beauty of points, especially for smallies. Have been dragging Ned bombs by Missile and the walleye and smallies are like clockwork.
As a local in Ontario I recommend setting your kid up w a live worm on a dropshot. I see tourist get skunked and whenever I see they have a kid I let them throw a worm on a dropshot , 85% of the time they get something. Hell I got a catfish yesterday on a worm
Look man, I like you, I watch your channels, but you need to ask your kids for help with the tech stuff or something. Insert a pic or video of what your talking about, whats a secondary point look like? What angles are you talking about?
I could listen to talk like this all day
Great info! As a self taught angler, this is golden content. Thanks
This video is what I was hoping for. I will listen to this more than once for sure.
2nd watch, I’m taking notes! Crazy info for free.
This is GOLD 🙌
Thanks Randy!
Thanks- really informative
2 hours later and no comments? This is one of those juice videos that nobody watches. I have heard Randy say they get fewer views.
No doubt
Thanks so much. Great information. Can’t wait to get out in the water.
wow we got 2 advanced videos this week 😮

Good juice!
Take a shot for every time Randy says "point" in this video.
Bandit 300 off a point crushes all species
Forward facing sonar helps too
🤡
