I played Persona 5 Royal after playing as Joker in Smash Ultimate and thinking he was really cool. There are so many cool songs in that game, and I’m very surprised at the selection of songs that got ported or remixed for Smash. Beneath the Mask and Aria of the Soul are supposed to be slow and melancholy to fit the slower atmosphere of Persona’s evening life and carefully crafting your team of personas and their attributes respectively, yet they got in Smash. Still others, such as Life Will Change, a high-octane, bombastic, action-packed theme that’s meant to get the Phantom Thieves pumped up for battle against the Palace Ruler doesn’t show up at all in Smash Ultimate except for the initial teaser for Joker! 😂
We've definitely been sleeping on Persona music. We gotta find more excuses to put songs from the game in our quizzes! The fast-paced songs that didn't appear in Smash are awesome, and the songs that are slower in the original game vibe so hard!!
I'm still not sure why a remix of Aria of the Soul was even needed since Battle For Everyone's Souls was also brought over; itself a remix of Aria of the Soul.
Missed #10 completely. That's the only series i dont really know in Smash; and i had the wrong game for #17, so an almost coin. Knew everything else. Secret question is the main theme of splatoon 2 ( splattack)

This is a really rad concept for a quiz and I hope you do more of these. I also really liked the way it cut to the original piece for each answer.
Score? Pretty good but I botched a couple of locations and mistook a certain Wii title for another one.

16 stars, 15 coins, and 2 almost coins are the final results for me. And I believe that last track is Splattack, the main theme of the first Splatoon game
1. Mario Bros. 2 (USA version). Never made it far into this game, but good thing this track plays in world 1-1. I'll take my star and bonus coin.
2. Stickerbrush Symphony. This played very often while going through the DK areas of Subspace emmissary. I'll take both coins.
3. This is Norfair from Metroid 1 and later remixed in Zero Mission. Star and bonus coin.
4. No idea. Yeah, my MGS experience is limited to the tutorial level of 2. Never would have guess Snake Eater from that clip.
5. Definitely Kirby. I want to say Butter Building. I recognize it more from Nightmare in Dreamland, which is the remake of Kirby's Adventure. Star and bonus coin.
6. I don't recognize this remix. I do know that it's Midna's Lament, from Twilight Princess, though. Star and coin.
7. No idea. Never played any Animal Crossing past Wild World.
8. Tetris A theme. This is right up there with the main Mario and Zelda themes in terms of fame. Star and coin.
9. Star Fox. Corneria, I think. Oh, Venom. Alright, I'll get an almost coin, then.
10. No idea. Not a Castlevania player.
11. Mario Kart. I'm lucky to have guess that much. Almost coin for me.
12. No idea. Didn't play Balloon Fight.
13. Big Blue from F-Zero. Star and coin.
14. I still prefer the original take on Beneath the Mask over any remix I've ever heard, including this one. star and coin.
15. Pokemon Battle. Not a version I recognize, so I'm guessing Diamond/Pearl. I get the star, but no bonus coin this time.
16. A Yoshi game? I haven't seen any repeated series yet, so this is one of the few Mario related ones left, and one of only two unused series that were in 64. almost coin.
17. Lost in Thoughts All Alone. I never played Fates, but I listened to Azura sing this song often enough.
18. No idea. Splattoon, maybe? Oh. Wii Fit... the only game my great grandmother played.
19. Mario 64 Slide theme. I think it's even called 'Slide', actually. Oh, it was. Good. Star and coin.
20. Dark Forest and Mountain from Link to the Past. Star and coin.
21. Okay, this one has to be Splattoon.

got 15/20, I missed a few of the older songs like balloon fight and Animal crossing.
Haha we definitely hear how #21 sounds like Double Dash! But that's more the remix; the original song sounds quite different.
