Community gardens is a big thing that will help in the future. More people must get rid of grass & plant food & collect seeds for times when there isnt any sold.
My wife has become expert in foraging. Hedge food is so abundant here in southern England that it is possible to collect enough to add to our garden, polytunnel & food stocks to increase our supplies enormously.

Just came across this here in Switzerland and it got my attention, as I did live in AZ for 10 years and its very timely for this here crazy, uncertain times. Also whole/natural plant food, is one of my interests for many years. Thank you!
"IF YOU CAN SEE THE ICEBERG, YOU'VE ALREADY HIT IT"...They saw it, and failed to act... many feel its been engineered. I'm blessed to enjoy research and have the time to do it. Thank you, checking out your book! I can't believe this didn't get more views!!!
Definitely engineered check out how many fires have destroyed food processing plants this year all over the countryside too many to call it a conspiracy
My son & I have been searching in our area for wild edibles & medicinal plants here in our area in the interior of BC around our land in out skirts of Merritt.
I'm in Vancouver Canada our area we have stinging nettle which can be eaten fresh (once cooked stinging effects gone,or dried tie in bundles and hang to dry) can be used in teas or added to soup, also dandelions plantains clover flowers for tea blackberries salmon berry leaves all could be dried. Check books for all edible wild foods
First time seeing this channel, it would seem the world is on fire, billions seeing a crisis around the corner... amd billions still hoping the elite's will save them
The crisis the elites created. They've gotten rich off of creating hardships for billions of people. Then getting richer claiming they have a solution ! What a selfish narcissistic world we live in. Never before have so few fucked up so much for so many.
I wonder if this video, which now has 14 comments (the first of which was almost exactly 365 days after it was published), I wonder if it is “discovered” because someone started searching for this topic two weeks ago or because UA-cam is saying get prepared (since these cruel elites like to say they gave us a warning for what they are about to do)?
The ol' YT algos have been showing me all these type videos, very spot on titles and topics... most are generally ' how to survive a Great Depression' themed and from 10 or 12 years ago. If I don't click on them, they keep showing me the same ones over and over. It's starting to feel like YT is really starting to care about my wellbeing... ❤ lol
I am going to have to look up Nancy Turner in regards to her preservation of indigenous knowledge since she is in my part of the world. We are going to need to know what native plants are good to eat. Keep wanting to know more about them.... of course, they are starting spraying programs for willy-nilly threats, so foraging is going to become toxic.
Next time save the credits for the end. Not everyone needs to hear all the antics, just the information. Yet we never get to hear about any actual foods. Just people blowing their horn about past famines. The video is just to sell the book.
a better presenter would keep my interest. maybe. I expected it to start discussing foods we eat to survive or something like that at the beginning of the video. I got a head ache and this is not helping.
The body has ways to lower metabolism and live off of stored body fat. The fat people much maligned and hated in modern society are specially adapted to survive famines.
Not really. They have not learnt to control their bodily drives. To them not eating will be more mentally devastating. Though they may live longer, they are more prone to despair in absence of food. Think ab the half a ton people. What chances of survival is that? To them starvation is only a prolonged torture.
@@Spark_Iskra_z_Polski formerly morbidly obese person here. I agree with you! I also don't think very obese people or people who sit most of the day will have the muscle tone and stamina to make it lon if shtf. It is unfortunate, but all actions or non-actions have consequences. Eat real foods (I suggest lots of meat), use your muscles, build a like-minded community, and use critical thinking when making decisions.
@@midwestribeye7820 you bring hope to this increasingly insane world of consumers. I am happy to meet a person that was able to see the problem and overcome it. My 80yr old mom is obese and in our Polish reality between 120-150 kg is morbid and disabling.
It gets "lowesome" and "disgusting" when talking about animals as famine foods? What are you talkin about! We've been primarily eating animals since the beginning of time. True academics, spending way to much time talking about your accolades. Native Americans thrived on following the Bison across the plains. Goats have fed countless humans over eternity due to their ability to live just about anywhere, in particular, arid and sparse terrain, dual purpose, used for both meat and milk. You might be able to "survive" on just plants, and that's up for debate itself, but you certainly won't thrive. Meat/poultry/fish/ clams /mollusk products dwarf plant products in their bioavailability of vitamins and nutrients, it is settled science after all. Eating bugs, huuuummmmnnn, where have I heard that before. Academics such as you yourselves get your marching orders from other so called "global elites", and the global institutions from which they serve. Whom are all unelected corporatist in the end. They don't care about people, all they care about is consolidating power and profit margin. Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to eating fruits and vegetables, primarily vegetables. But your dogmatic views truly shameful. You'll fit in well at the world economic forum.
4 minutes and fifty seconds in, and the presenters are finally finished bragging and are now showing the public communication abilities of a grade school dropout. 7: 26, gbye.

Came across this today and could not believe how appropriate of a subject this is for the economic hardship/food shortages we are in. Thank you.

Thank you, for making this available. It’s very interesting.
With the Burning of 22 food processing plants from 2021 to May 2022, I find this Book Timely and Necessary.
Thank You 😊

Any thoughts on the consumption of 'long pig' as a famine food?
Cannibalism, no thanks!
Information that is useful? Concise? Names, pics, something?
I found this hard to follow.

Personally, I think cover crops are the best place to look for survival crops. winter/spring peas, cowpeas, grains, collards, sunflowers, etc...

Nope. They have no micronutrients to work on. There’s good fat and bad fat and they’re bad fat.
They don’t walk to food, they don’t get food.

What are you, some kind of Democratic Socialist or something?
I agree. WEF agenda is real and these sheeple better wake up before it's too late.
Y’all need some training on how to introduce people and how to make an effective presentation. Good grief. The topic is worthy of a bit more effort.
