I have essential tremor and it is progressively getting worse. I am sympathetic toward this guy whose tremor is worse than my own. He seems like a great guy. It is difficult to live with tremor because people judge you or they avoid getting close to you. As difficult as the simplest task has become, like putting on pierced earrings, what bothers me most is I feel insecure around people. I try now to avoid social events. I wonder if they think I am an alcoholic with the DTS or because I delight in gardening, I wonder if neighbors think I expose myself to toxic substances ,insecticides, herbicides etc. I have become paranoid. I find it humiliating.
I feel so badly for your suffering. Our reason for posting these case history videos it to give sufferers HOPE. This man was diagnosed as "cervical dystonia" and was recommended brain surgery to implant a stimulator. Yet correcting his jaw / neck position made great improvements in his symptoms. So it proves that the root cause was poor jaw / neck mis-aligment was the root cause since that was the only change we made

And if patient reads the comments, just forget about it. It'll go away, and you're not a freak. At least it's not your lips and you can speak clearly :) Good luck.
I believe that is due to imbalance of neck muscles which in turn is related to poor alignment of the mandible. Once we aligned that correctly, then the symptoms got better. Physicians believe that it is due to random firing of the brain.

I think the surgery is the best way for fix that
Surgery is the best way...because? Cut what...since surgery involves cutting something. What if it is no better or actually worse, after surgery? What is the down side to correcting this with non-surgical, reversible means?
Great! thanks for your reply, I will include your name and website. All the best.
And if patient reads the comments, just forget about it. It'll go away, and you're not a freak. At least it's not your lips and you can speak clearly :) Good luck.
Try cbd oil
But what causes it?
I believe that is due to imbalance of neck muscles which in turn is related to poor alignment of the mandible. Once we aligned that correctly, then the symptoms got better. Physicians believe that it is due to random firing of the brain.
Any advice for me? I'm a constant no no shaker. Get BOTOX every 3 months to help but i don't think it's working anymore. Diazepam doing nothing either. 50yr old diagnosed when 28. In the UK. Heard about the cannabis oil so I'm not sure whether to take a chance in losing my job by taking it or just suffer for life.
Go to www.MidwestHeadaches.com Look under "Contac"t for options to contact. Take care
I started off with a movement like this and a trunk spasm and a leg tic. It stayed the same for 25 years and then in 2017 I fell twice and now get shoulder spasms and face spasms. I'm also worst when I rest. An Osteopath has made a lot of progress with the shoulder.
Lorraine K-L Can I ask what osteopath did that helped?
@@JustME-ft4di It did not work long-term I'm afraid. I am now on Baclofen. This really does help.
