Nicely done! I get the whole "reading from script" voice. I occasionally contribute to an aviation podcast, and while I practice the script many times to get it "natural", it always seems so scripted. Anyway, travel on!!
One of the benefits of reading from a script is that I can then import the script into UA-cam with the video, and it automatically creates accurate close captions. If you let UA-cam try to figure out what you’re saying as you say it, it invariably screws it up.
This hot spring is on maps and is right on the freeway. I started going there at least 7 years ago, long before I saw any videos about it, and it was crowded on weekends back then, too. Do you really think a video like this makes a difference? I don't.
@@MariaLanger yes l do. 7 years ago there would be about 5 camps max in the 14 day area. Now there are so many that people are spreading out into the buffer zone between the 14 day area and the LTVA. I've been going there for 12 years and just left, probably for the last time. There are people camped in the 14 day area that have been there for 3 months.
Very interesting Maria. I follow another person that just happens to be there right now at those Hot Springs. His name is Eric Jacobs and he is called nomadic fanatic has a motorhome and two kitties that go with him everywhere. Say hi if you happen to bump into him.
I did see a cat wandering around someone’s campsite the other day. And a woman walking a cat in a leash today. There are a lot of UA-camrs coming through here.

It's a shame what happened to that place, I hope they caught & convicted that/those Nasty individual(s)! I've heard the tubs are Not being maintained like they used to be by the LTVA members, is this true?? I've also heard that more & more"unruly" people are showing up at the hot springs & frequently, is this also true??
No, the tubs are being maintained fine. Cleaned every Tuesday morning. No chemicals, though, so algae does build up on the floors and sides between cleanings. The worst folks show up in the summer months when the long termers are mostly gone, although there was a woman with TWENTY kids who showed up twice, mouthed off to the campground host, and got thrown out by the ranger. The sheriff has been around once or twice, too. I was there for a total of about 22 days this season and did not experience any problems at all.
@@MariaLanger Great to hear & Thanks for this info, means I'll be taking a trip @ the tail end of this winter--like next week, before it starts warming up too much & who the heck would want to soak in the springs there during the summer time, Geez, better that most of the riffraff shows up then rather than during the winter season.
