Curiosity. That is what catalysed Bang & Olufsen’s pioneering work with aluminium. In 1955, when the industry convention was to use heavy metals such as cadmium, chrome and nickel in audio products, engineers at Bang & Olufsen became intrigued by the possibilities of aluminium, a material that was strong, flexible, flat and resistant to corrosion. Today, the slick, mirror-like aluminium surfaces have become an integral and ubiquitous part of the Bang & Olufsen design aesthetic. “Aluminium has had an instrumental effect, not just on how our products perform,” says Ib Kongstad, “but also on how they are designed.”

AVOID this company! I spent $400 on the Beoplay EX, & the foam eartips have FALLEN APART shortly after. B&O is REFUSING to fix it, instead insisting I BUY a replacement set for $25 +tax +shipping. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service & they REFUSE to stand behind their products!

Please note that ear tips are consumables. Their life span is limited and depends on the usage.
Below you can find some recommendation son how to make them last longer:
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Avoid contact with chemicals and consumer products including, but not limited to: lotions, sunscreen, alcohol, make-up and hair spray.
- Store in a location that will prevent other items from rubbing against the foam tips. Make sure that items such as gym shoes, keys and other hard-surfaced items are not scratching or contacting the Comply tips.
