Thanks for the presentation. Im quite new to PBX world and i want to know that when i setup the UCM, do i have to change the IP Address to be in the range of the router together with the phones?
Hi Andrew, Thanks for reaching out! Static Defense provides the option to block a single IP address or a group of IP addresses using the subnet mask. For example, 192.168.10.0/24 will block all IP addresses in the range of 192.168.10.0 to 192.168.10.255.
So will setting the RTP keep alive to 1 make it so you do not have to do port forwarding on ports 10000-20000 for remote users ? I setup a remote user, then configured the RTP timeout to 1, and disabled port forwarding, but still not sound ? Is there another setting that need to be configured that I am unaware of ?

Thanks! For static defense, is there a way to block an ip range, or can we only block the specific IP?
