    Watch my new hunting video.. LAMPING WITH LASS THE LURCHER . Very clear footage and some great runs. This is one of best lamping videos with my new camera. Lass caught 41 rabbits on the night. Stick it on the tv tonight. Switch the lights and watch it in the dark. I hope you enjoy it.

    I really like this one. Nice to see the young pup finding its feet. Very clean warrens too, wish I had some more like that to cherry pick from. The guys quick on the digs and has the bag to show for it. My jills have been struggling to hold the rabbits in place for some of my digging recently, might need the hob back out on the soft ground again soon.

    How old is the pup mate at what age do you boys tend to start them I have just got a new pup in 10weeks old today. Looks like a strong enough pup to make a nice all rounder haha you boys need to come down to South Wales and have a crack on our stingy thorny filled bastard hedgerows! Il dig 8ft for permission that clean keep em coming lads

    • @reynoldsoutdoors3055
      @reynoldsoutdoors3055  6 років тому

      I think it's wise to get them out as early as you can ferreting and mooching for only a short amount of time. I think max is about 16 weeks. We didn't have far to walk though and we were possibly out longer than I would advise but there was plenty going on to keep him interested. I imagine he were tired the following day.

    • @reynoldsoutdoors3055

      Andrew Reynolds Hunting haha there are reasonable numbers to be had in our hedges had 16 last weekend in 3 hours but you have to put up with stingy bashing and thorn picking for the pleasure! As soon as mine is all jabbed il have him with me for a look what county is it you boys are in here?? Could I Hear the grouse on the Moore in the background

      You do it the way you do it, But the young Pup, is looking down every hole when the ferret is working, rabbits see and hear the dog moving around,and won't bolt,and then the ferret layes up, time waisted diging him out, The young Pup courses a rabbit, can't catch the rabbit because the puppy not mature enough,then the pup gives tongue,and gets into bad habits,Have fun 🐰🐶

      The dogs still a pup and finding it’s feet you clown, a good ferreters dog doesn’t just come overnight it’s a long procedure of hard training that can go on years to get right, not just a dog that runs hares with no brains at all!!! Atvb with your young pup pal

      Its a pup. Its to young to understand ferreting properly. Time is the key with ferreting dogs. Time and brains not speed.

      John Frost God gave man dominion over the animals and fish for food, I think we have been brainwashed into thinking of rabbits as cute and cudly, which they are. Think on this, if you where starving, would you wish you had these lost skills ? Because soon, there will be a lot less food in the supermarket, and what there is will be very expensive....
