My wedding band and engagement ring are both platinum even though I only wear gold jewelry and watch. My husband did all the ring shopping and I really love the platinum.

If you’re going to get it set in a gold band then go as low as H or I since the gold will reflect some warmth on the diamond regardless. With that you’ll save a ton of money. Even in a white band, you will barely see warmth in an H color

Similar to my ring I got a 3.6ct + G VSI but a Mined round diamond. You barely see the inclusion even up close. Good choice with the grading :) I also went ring shopping with my partner before I got engaged. Didn’t take any excitement out at all
