This video is 4 years old but I am just finding it - good info. However I am still perplexed as to how to get those converted mp3s (from apple music) such that Chord Tracker reads them? Which library do I put them in? Apple music folder, Itunes folder? Any suggestions?

I have no problem with connecting my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone to my Yamaha PSR SX900 keyboard via Bluetooth. I have installed the Chord Tracker app on my phone, but it does not recognize my keyboard. I have tried to pair them several times, but it does not work. Can you please help me with this issue?

HI, thanks for reviewing this, how do we get songs onto our device ?
I hope you already found the answer...but you have to download the song into your song library on your phone or tablet. Then select it in the Chord Tracker app. In will analyze the chords fo you . It may not be able to “see” certain songs depending on the song’s copyright protection. It seems to like MP3s better than song’s I’ve downloaded from the Apple Music store.
I"ve had this app several years, and as far as I have compared it to several apps on the Ipad, to me it's still the best , in my opinion. The only thing I cannot understand why Yamaha is limiting other music into this app. If we can input any music into this app, it will be one of the best applications for musicians. Hope Yamaha is listening.
I expect it's something to do with apple owning the platform on which the app is running... or copyright. There will be something out of their control I expect!
Can it detect and show a solo melody and show you how to play it? like a guitar riff such as Back in Black by ACDC ??
No sadly Lee. But I’m testing some other AI software that is learning to notate music it hears.

It's beautiful, but better explain how to connect the tablet to the keyboard, because with the Lightning-USB yet indicated in the Yamaha manual and connected here, the Ipad does not detect the keyboard
What kind of audio archive this app recognizes? i've tried mp3 but did not return any result in library thanks
I think it only connects with iTunes unfortunately.
Thanks for the review and the app actually does a very good job of encoding the songs, however, I couldn't solve my problem with Chord Tracker. I have the ipad connected to the digital piano via wi-fi device (UD-WL01) and I recorded some songs in the app - files in Wave. Now I need access to them to edit, but I can't copy/export the files to the device (iPad) or even to iCloud. That is, I can't access what I recorded at all... I can only listen. Would you have any tips on how can I access these files?

Hrmmm not sure sorry Ricardo. If you’ve tried everything maybe contact their support? I’ve not tried to do that.

Is it only music from iTunes or can it import UA-cam music if it’s downloaded?
It seems to only load from apple music and/or itunes

I agree. How do you get the music from your phone to this app. It appears that I can only upload fromApp,e music. I use Spotify. Is there a way to do this?
I only see a few of my favourite songs as being available and not my complete music library in itunes

This app is useless for me , it cannot connect to other BT midi instruments , excepting Yamaha's . What a jerks ! My Roland FP10 is working fine connected by BT to Android phone , with Pianno Partner ,Roland app , but that Chord Tracker denny connectinng , and the function key of my pianno is flashing while the app try to connect.
