From this match, you can clearly see why Parrying need to be communicated as Standing Parry and Low Attack parrying animations instead of strictly standing parry. From seeing those animations it would help in regards to attack decisions. In the case of Ryu vs Guile, knowing that information would have been vital for Ryu because a standing parry animation would tell the Ryu player that Guile was not charging at that moment. Such vital information would have helped Ryu players decide whether to jump in to attack Guile. Not know that would result in exactly what we saw from 9:13 secs in this video, confusion. Capcom really do need to be more considerate regarding the universal mechanics and communication in SF6. Improving those will help everyone considerably as it will reduce misconceptions and raging, and promote strategies.
@thesazbak5342 true that could have worked, maybe jab, to dp to CA. I'm still thinking though that instead of the tatsu, if he had used heavy donkey kick to critical art, that would have killed, cause this was before damage scaling off of jab combos and its a bnb combo. I was surprised he didn't use it.
He has perfect sonic booms in this game and they have a different voice line. they're basically slightly better booms that you get for being consistent with they forward + punch timing.
It was an excellent display of matchup knowledge and fundamental game play. Both fighters understood how much of a threat the other one was and played respectfully while also demanding respect for their own skill. Beautiful.
@@Kenny-sl6hb Let me put a clip of Subway surfer or family guy under the match or beside it, maybe that way you could pay attention and not doze off every 10 seconds.
Classic SF right there! good old motion character vs charge character.
Even the music. Everything about this fight is pure Street Fighter greatness.
Facts! I love it!
whatever you say boomer
The classic SF matchup!
What an intense battle. They both brought the smoke
love how there are like 5 comments here whining about guile being "Boring", really lets you know who here has no attention span
My two favorite Sf characters to watch and use.

This was such an entertaining match to watch! Loved it
It's crazy how degenerate SF has become to the point that any semblance of neutral in a match is now considered boring ...
Ppl NEED DOPAMINE. PLEASEEE. I agree I think the neutral is interesting
The chip damage of guiles lvl 2 is nuts.
This guile is deadly!!
Naruo got so punished every time he pressed f.HP, and he kept insisting😂
nah, there were some times he got the plus frames
Naruo completely forgot that he had CA at 3:24. Would have been a 2-0 had he used it.
Maybe, or he could have gone for the 4f or 5f punish of the drive reversal after that instead if the tightest 6f one.

I don’t I’ll ever get use to "perfect "
1:10 1:25 2:40 3:20 4:57 - 5:12 6:25
Why doesn’t Guile say “Sonic boom” anymore?

@@SerpenSquamata thank you
Pure fundies.
ouh!
4:05
lol
since they shortened guile's sonic boom charge time, they should slow its recovery.
Or increase the perfect boom frame window from 4 to 6 frames to help with the bigger combos
Haha, Narua is really boring player, nothing creative and finally lost, same he using Jamie
Sometimes the best route is the most simple one
This was dull match filled with turtling & exchanging projectiles....
So ... this was a true Street Fighter match ?
Better than monkey brain drive rushing matches that end with 3 guesses.
Sounds like a hater to me
These are the ppl that think you should be sprinting towards the enemy in a shooting game with a sniper 😂

what a boring match
Or maybe, you have the attention span of a goldfish?
@@aymen_b1267nah it’s just boring
You won't gonna see more neutral in any game.

It’s against Guile ofc it’s gonna be boring
Zoners are so fricking boring. Endless projectile spam over and over lol
Boring just spam "sonic boom"
