Marisa Martins, Mac McClure el Combat del Somni de Miquel Ortega

The world premier of the song cycle "el Combat del Somni"by Miquel Ortega; on poems of Joseph Janes. These songs were first performed during the Barcelona festival of Song June 29, 2013, in the National Library of Catatonia in Barcelona. These four songs are part of a project to finish the work started by Frederic Mompou by setting all the poems from the Book "El Combat del Somni" by Josep Janes. So far I have premiered songs by Ricardo Llorca, Moises Bertran, and Carlota Garriga. Alberto Garcia Demestres, Albert Guinovart, Jordi Flaquer and Anna Cazura are some of the other composers who have been asked to compose for this cycle!
