You are absolutely right about the stitches being off. It takes an upholster with attention to detail to not let work go out that can be visually critiqued by a non upholster. Nice job on your behalf.

It sucks not being able to trust a company or someone to do their job at an acceptable level anymore. It's all about how fast a job gets completed and how much $$$ can be made. As always, excellent work and congrats on advancing your skills.

My mother in law is a master seamstress.
She brings to life designs for the fashion shows and brings her sewing machine as carry on luggage
I asked her opinion of your ability as a beginner, for an 80 year old woman, She had high praise for you :
    1. your choice in sewing machine.
    2. Your stitching speed as a beginner.
    3) Fitment
    You did fantastic, sir.

Been a while since watching your videos, still doing great work as always! Good to see you are expanding, if you want something done right do it yourself. I'm really impressed with that top(and everything you do actually), can't believe it's your first one. I have that same sewing machine and it has been one of my best investments, that servo motor makes it so easy when doing detail work like that. A couple suggestions I have but aren't really needed because you do impeccable work but it may make things a little easier. Add on to the left side and back of your machine table, when sewing big pieces like that the fabric wants to fall off the table pulling it and making it harder to work with. They also make a special foot that has a spring loaded blade that rides in the seam so you get a nice even straight stitch. Not trying to say your stitching wasn't straight or even because you did a fantastic job! It comes in handy if you were to use a different colored thread like say a blue to match the paint on the roof. Please don't take my suggestions as me hating or anything because you truly do wonderful work, I have learned so much watching your videos(especially making custom door panels)
