Yes, I agree. I think talent alone will not make an artist successful, it needs to be honed like a diamond and a team that will support them. That's why I still think SM is one of the best companies. The company is not perfect but in terms of training artists, they really are above other companies so I kinda disagree sometimes with people who says just stan the artists because they wouldn't be where they are now without being casted and trained by SM.

Coming back here from this year's SMTown because that was just depressing. SMTown VI was the last true SMT concert tour for me. We all know how SM works but their artists really can't be touched (talent-wise). At least during this era, they were still mostly at SM. Not only that, the interactions between the artists back then was way better. I miss this era so much but I'm glad I was able to be part of it as a fan.

Not just the artists but choreographers, performance directors, managers, producers, and stylists too.
If the artists weren’t so close with each other and with the staff, I really don’t think they would all still be there considering how questionable some of the upper management decisions are. Youngmin manager has been with EXO for 11 years, Heechul has had the same stylist team since debut, and Jae, Kasper, and Mihawk have choreographed so many pieces.
Nadiah Sekar I completely agree! I used to think SM was a great company too because they’re not as strict as YG or JYP. But I feel like now they don’t pay as much attention to their artists. Not speaking out to support Chen, pushing Mark really hard schedule-wise, not giving Winwin any parts. I feel like they just see the artists as a way to make the company money and be successful, rather than supporting them as people.

Reveluv Smstan that’s not the main problem because that’s just every kpop idols standards but sm doesn’t promote their artists well these years . untill 5 years ago , they could promote so many grps at once from fx to red velvet to shinee to exo to suju to snsd to tvxq to preparing for nct , and now ? look at how they alr wasted fx and close to wasting snsd ? what happened to comebacks on the veteran groups ? sm also seems to ignore idols wellbeing. sulli reached out to them so many times , but was brushed off. many of their artists are suffering from depression. I won’t mention him but y’all all know. but it’s true that if you are with sm, it’s only a matter of time you get famous because they really have an eye for talent.
