I wouldn't recommend anything in this size range with a midsize pickup. Sure you have the power and maybe slightly smaller units don't go over your weight capacity. The problem is the first time you travel with a crosswind you'll quickly wish you had a 1/2 ton with more mass and stability. White knuckle driving is stressful and dangerous for you and everyone around you.
@@Tn272SP1 I highly recommend TFL for towing tests numbers. They put just about everything to the test for towing. It's easy to overload a half ton like your new tundra, they just don't have the payload to handle the tongue weight of a loaded up camper. A 2k lbs payload in a pickup doesn't go far when you figure in a couple occupants, gear, stuff in the pickup box and a loaded camper's tongue weight. Cross winds are when you'll find out if you don't have enough tow vehicle, every manufacturer is making enough power these days to pull way more weight than the chassis is designed for.

What is the manufacturer of the slides? thank you!
Awesome little camper! I'm digging XLS' new floor plans 👌
Good video, what’s access like when in road mode.
We recorded a segment on it. It must have gotten lost in the edit. You can access your fridge and bathroom with both slides in.
Anything grand design with similar floor plan/weight to apex nano 208bhs?
How much is it??
Yea you have to be safe when pulling out or pulling in but other than that, nice trailer
What am the wet weight on this?
With the weight of this trailer, has anyone towed anything this size/weight with something like a Tacoma?
i would not. half ton minimum
@@itr0863 thanks. That is pretty much what I expected. I actually was looking at the 21BHE or the AIM 16BL
