I still think the most sat on, overlooked boss AA for its br and above is the crusader AA Mk1. It's effectively a crusader medium tank with 40mm auto cannon with enough pen to kill tigers and panthers and kill the odd plane when needed.

@@solreaver83 it got me through all of rank 3 and 4 soooo, and its br 3.0 at rank 3 so its crazy at grinding events
my and 2 of my friends (one has the L62, other the crusader AA) often absolutely dominate low tier with these vehicles. its so funny when you see a clueless player, coordinate, count down, then all start shooting at the same time. firing squad type shish
US really needs a 8.3 SPAA. I can’t do anything to CAS with my 8.3 lineup and I’m exhausted at this point

@@robertharris6092 it’s capabilities at 8.3 is awful. It does not have the muzzle velocity, damage, or radar that would make it decent at 8.3
@@A-Warthog-cc1wm the m163s velocity is only 145 lower than the gepard. A worth while tradeoff to have a center mounted gun. The radar is a nice to have but seardh radar only helps if you arnt paying attention. And the m163 shoots 3x faster. So damage doesnt matter much when you can 3 bullets for every one the gepard hits.
@@robertharris6092about that 3x faster firing, does that already account for the fact that the gepard has 2 guns?
Either way, the caliber difference alone means a difference in pure projectile and explosive mass being thrown out, a single 35mm packs way more punch than a single 20mm.
Too bad the m163 radar sucks ass.
