Glad someone else mentioned this! I think the connection is a nod to Marilyn Manson who covered both tainted love and sweet dreams in a “heavy” way. This group seems to be channeling some of that “spooky” energy with their makeup and costumes and choreography. Very creative!
The nurse in the green hair is amazing. Her moves and facial expressions show her dedication and ability to truly channel the character. My favorite by far.
And those opening guitar tones!!! PERFECT intonation. Filling every band of the audio spectrum without any single process overbearing. Stunning audio mix, so kudos to the audio engineers. Initially I could not take my eyes off Erika (amazing facial expressions) but I have learned after watching a million times (little exaggeration, lol) that each of these ladies deserves a watching. So - watch this four times, each time focusing exclusively on one lady. You will not be disappointed. By the way - cheers to the three men in the back - you all rock too!
you are right on the mark with this comment, but it is truly difficult to turn your basic focus away from Ericka. She has the character of this cover nailed to the floor!
I did spend one time watching the musicians and enjoyed the one on the left being shoo'd back when he approached the blonde singer. Apologies for not knowing their names.
The Bass Player is otherworldly! A lot of well deserved attention to the green nurse, who stole the show, but that Bass Player's movements are AMAZING. Can I get some love for the Bass Player?
I realise that I am late to the party but this is simply spectacular. You HAVE to watch it at least 7 times just to watch all the individual performances. Everyone does their part, and I am sure that everyone has a favourite. The fact that the guys can be so expressive, in the background, wearing masks and still be unique is superb. I recommend that you watch it at least 8 times, one for each individual performance and once for the collective piece. Personally, as a conservative estimate, I must have watched it well over 100 times already and it is regularly on my play list. An artistic masterpiece, visually stunning, and a flawless rendition of a classic song. Thank you BP.
Just found this band! Love the music and costumes. The girl in green hair has the energy and psycho look to keep you hooked on this song. All the ladies are beautiful ! Hope to see more of y’all.
She is suitably manic, with an engaging leg tremble. Konstantin is probably Russian, which makes for a bitter and twisted psyche, due to the trials and tribulations that country continues to experience.
I cannot get enough of this video! I must have watched this video twenty-plus times, and I am absolutely mesmerized by it. Everyone is totally crushing it! Érika Lewis' moves, however, are next level. Érika's hypnotic, psychotic, yet alluring facial expressions really draw you in like a moth to a flame. Also, I love how Lara and Éri play off each other, especially at the 1:45 mark. Every time I watch this video, I always choose one person to watch all the way through, including the band. I didn't notice the "blood vials" dropping until the 15th viewing. I have been watching your other videos as well. I am so glad I found this group. Broken Peach, you all ROCK!

I just discovered this, and Broken Peach. I am blown away. This is awesome. The choreography is incredible. Everything goes together and works perfectly. I agree that girl with green hair, Erika Lewis, I think just adds more to the performance. Everything she does is "extra". You can't take your eyes off her. Her gestures, dance, singing, and I would say acting, is perfect. Her portrayal of psycho skeleton zombie is spot on. It's only been one day since I discovered Broken Peach and their videos, but I am hooked. They could really go viral!
I think the name is a euthenism for broken virginity and the song in this case may again reference's child abuse as was the Soft cell version with Marc Almond and the child in the video or devil worship as sang by Marilyn Manson. Take your pick.
What an incredible Halloween "treat"! While so many are complimenting the "green-haired" one, it definitely took all seven of these extremely talented musicians and singers to pull this off. For a real treat, check out their other Halloween specials dating back several years and also their other covers, where you can see they are more than just a pretty face! Congratulations, Peaches on reaching 1.5 million in 23 days!

They are even in my personal music list I listen to every day. Your like my morning coffee that makes my day. Keep it up.
As a great fan of the original by Soft Cell I just have to say... WOW!!! AWESOME!!! You guys nailed it! Of course this is a way more modern version but I just love it. Musically, soundwise, optical... I don't have words for what joy that performance brought to me. I actually have to admit that I love it more than the original! The Intro and a lot of tunes in between remind me a lot of Rammstein which are also a favorite band of mine. Great arrangements, great production! Also the switches to Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics are greatly done. Keep on rocking and releasing such great videos!
Genius! Absolutely one of the best performances in general ever: the harmonizing, choreography, rhythm and style. This is just what my dream state was during a week in the hospital!
Wow, a Rammstein "Deutschland" intro blends seamlessly into "Tainted Love". Then late into the song they bring back "Deutschland" music with Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" in rap spoken word. The video is awesome! Makeup & costumes super. The voices & mannerisms of the singers just make this so cool & highly enjoyable. Super Super Super!
I just found this video the other day and cant stop watching it!! What a great group i went on Apple and downloaded like around 25 of their songs, especially the xmas songs so i will have a rockin xmas this year! I binged watched most of their vids and they are an exceptional group.. I'm older at 58 and loved the original soft cell version of this song and thought it couldn't get any better until I saw this video. The green haired Erica stands out in this video with her animations and voice but if you watch the other vids the blond in one of the vids with her tongue display was a jaw dropper.. I hope they get to perform in the USA and I hope they continue to mix the older songs as they are almost perfect.. I watched the behind the scenes video and I like is they are all older and not teeny boppers.😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩😁😁😁
FANTASTIC!!! Love it! WONDERFUL!! Bravo! Great cover! Brilliant use of makeup, costumes, facial expressions on nurses, and dancing moves and expressive gestures by dancers! I was really captivated by the facial expressions on the nurse (second from right), as I watched her face during the song, and her body language and gestures while dancing and singing. Spooky! WOW!
This video is my introduction to you Broken Peach. I loved everything about it. Great musicianship by the men in the band. All 4 of you women have great voices. Great pipes! I've been binge-watching your videos this past week and now know that you perform in a more traditional way, no make-up, just putting it out there. And its awesome. But when you costume up and act out your singing, it is incredible, entertaining, and fun as hell. I tried finding more information on you as individuals and as a band, and couldn't find much. I think a lot of people would like to more about you. Please let us get to know you a little without risking your own privacy. @@kskssxoxskskss2189 I don't think it's really precise. They aren't doing group choreography. But they are very animated. Lot of personality. They are performing the hell out of it.
So this randomly came up on my playlist among the usual metal and rock and I have to say its the first truly original take on music I have seen for decades. Its crazy, but SPOT ON.
Everyone is pointing out the woman with the green hair. Of course she is incredibly talented, but I have to give a shout out to the entire group, including the guys in the back. They all nailed it, the sum is far greater than the parts.
her movements were so much more to use a musical term , staccato. she got thesudden hard but brief stops on the beat perfectly, and her expressions while preforming were extremely emotive. the others were not bad, but seemed more fluid never quit getting that sudden stop. the blond on the left, also used her expression to show energy and emotion
Her sense of timing is spot-on, but she also has surprisingly wide eyes and shows off waaaay too much of her teeth...too much for a normal song, that is. Here, it just highlights the creepiness and slight cartoonishness of the character. Rather like how when Tim Curry smiled in Rocky Horror, it didn't actually reassure anyone, but just added to the tension and sense of the macabre. It's a smile that's just a little too big for the face it's in - and it works so well. 🙂
Broken Peach is why Halloween is my FAV time of the year!! Kinda had a Green Day "Basket Case" vibe in the beginning and with so much going on I'm going to have to watch this at least 7 more times so I can watch what each member does individually 🤩🤩
Absolutely lovely atmosphere and great staging by the band and singers. I totally agree the Green Haired Nurse absolutely wiped the floor with everyone else in terms of body language and enthusiasm, she seemed truly possessed! Great music video, thanks for making this available.
I had to watch this video 6 times just to watch each band members singing and body movement, just entranced by the overall performance, hands the is Broken Peaches best video so far, well done ! 👍
I’ve probably watched this video half a dozen times now. It’s not only addicting in its creativity with the musical arrangement, but the performance of the girl in the green wig is simply captivating. They all have great voices, but she really brings her “Día de los Muertos” alter ego to life (no pun intended) with her exaggerated movements and the way she uses her eyes, popping out from that field of black, in a way that almost morbidly draws you in. Honestly, when I first watched the video I was almost convinced they had added a frame acceleration effect to her movements. It makes me wonder why the director didn’t pick up on it right away and have them do another take with all of the girls emulating her performance. That said, I’ve watched nearly all of their videos now, with and without the make-up and I’m a big, new fan. Even if I am a bit late to the party. 😊 Although, the make-up really sets them apart in a fun new way.

Agreed. My focus was on her the entire time. That must have been exhausting to do all of those jerky movements and facial contortions for several minutes straight.
Her Names Erica Lewis. She’s always pretty easy to find no matter how the ladies are dressed and made up. Her dance style makes her easy to find. And she’s very much a lady.
Agreed, crisp movement, I think a key part were the emotion in her eyes, all expressions were more pronounced. She acts a bit crazy and that is what is cool about her in this video..
Halloween needs to come multiple times a year so we can see more Broken Peach Halloween videos . I love this group but I find I like the songs they do in makeup the most and the Halloween songs are the absolute best .
Heres how they did this video : They originally played the song in a slower version, and they mimicked the music at natural speed . Then once the song and video was played at its correct speed , they appear as comedic speed as you see here . Its a great concept .

I have now watched it 36 times and have told a lot of friends to watch it as well., I was shocked when I looked today and now they have almost a million views awesome, way to go Broken Peach. This is a very exceptional video musically and creatively. So much fun. I have watched it many times were I watch only one person at a time and its interesting to see each performer put their little magic on the whole video.

Echoing other comments on here, new Broken Peach fan. This song really stood out on Halloween. Erika's performance totally captures the eye. For a bit of visual trivia watch to see which two performers lose both their syringes by the end of the song!

I'll have to watch this again to see the other characters. Nurse Greenhair had me transfixed and I didn't notice any other character.
Very good
Wish we had close ups
Damn and I though I was the only one haha
They edit the frame rate of the video also, every so may frames are taken out so it looks sped up and jerky to your eye.
Wow! Jesus! These gals are great!! Especially the one with the green hair! She was on point with every move and facial expression. What a performance.
Just love the green haired one, so much energy
Her eyes were enthralling.
@eastcane almost seemed sped up only on her tho....
And those opening guitar tones!!! PERFECT intonation. Filling every band of the audio spectrum without any single process overbearing. Stunning audio mix, so kudos to the audio engineers. And the producer(s)! Wow, what a fantastically talented team. What I would give to be a fly on the wall during mixdown and I've been a pro audio engineer for over 40 years. You win!
The melodie from 0:19 min. - 0:41 min. and 2:40 min. was stolen from Rammstein "Deutschland".
@@MD-gr6so Ja! Das nennt sich "homage" ....... Oder?
Man... The whole group Broken Peach is great in this video, but Erika is killing it. She has me hypnotized in this video.
That's the one with the green hair?
Yes, green hair. Yellow mike.
The guitarist on the right-hand side kept stealing the show, imho.
@@curtisrobinson7962 I'm not sure what you're talking about but i think that the whole group was equally great in this video. I don't think that any one of them stole the show from any of the others.
I bet she could pop n lock if she tried.....she danced her ass off in this one. They all can dance, but she can DANCE,
Initially I could not take my eyes off Erika (amazing facial expressions) but I have learned after watching a million times (little exaggeration, lol) that each of these ladies deserves a watching.
I just tried watching them all (again), green haired chic is on a whole 'nuther level.
I did spend one time watching the musicians and enjoyed the one on the left being shoo'd back when he approached the blonde singer. Apologies for not knowing their names.
The guitarist on the right bickering with the nurse.. priceless! Sweet mixing with the Eurythmics towards the end..all were utterly insane!! 13/10!
The Bass Player is otherworldly! A lot of well deserved attention to the green nurse, who stole the show, but that Bass Player's movements are AMAZING.
Can I get some love for the Bass Player?

Those three always do an amazing job. I like the wave at the end.
8? . . . . . . . maybe I'm overdosing then.
I find myself covering the screen so that I can focus on each performance! Erika just draws my eyes. 😂
Just found this band! Love the music and costumes. The girl in green hair has the energy and psycho look to keep you hooked on this song. All the ladies are beautiful ! Hope to see more of y’all.
I love Erika Lewis her style, look, attitude, all make her performance something to watch and enjoy. AWESOME JOB ERIKA
The girl with the green hair rocked it, everything from the way she moved to her awesome facial expressions. Mesmerizing.
aka try hard :D
Showed this to my sister ..... she said she wanted to be the gal with the green hair! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is suitably manic, with an engaging leg tremble. Konstantin is probably Russian, which makes for a bitter and twisted psyche, due to the trials and tribulations that country continues to experience.
Good Grief, the undead chick with green hair was just killing the facials and body language, astounding!
For some reason she is the one that also caught my attention...
No way. The blonde one all the way. Probably not really blonde, but she was killing it
I've watched this a dozen times now; always focused on her. She trips me out actually. I give her mega points on effort!
No kidding.
She must be heaps of fun at parties
All blokes
I’ve watched it a few times, too, to try to watch the others. I don’t want to just focus on Erika, which is tough!

Acting with motion and just the face is so hard, and YOU ALL NAIL IT. Such a great band!

I am only three days in ,can't get enough ,good grove ,theater on steroid's ,who could ask for more . peace out .
I think the name is a euthenism for broken virginity and the song in this case may again reference's child abuse as was the Soft cell version with Marc Almond and the child in the video or devil worship as sang by Marilyn Manson. Take your pick.
I agree!!
You have to watch Erica's eyes during the chorus. The move in different expression ways.
Check out their cover of This Is Halloween, that one went viral on social media when it came out
What an incredible Halloween "treat"!

Erika is so facinating🤯 I can't keep my eyes off of her performance in Tainted Love don't get me wrong in any way at all on the other performers as well they are just so fantastic I took time to watch the video over and over and still do to see everyone's performance individually the band is so I can't find the words to describe them every time I turn my phone on I have to listen and watch them every day.
Ms Green, that was exceptional. I watched this video like 5 times and it was all because of your performance
Dido! Well not all because of her but I can't help but watch her every time now!
I do the same, her expression is right in the money.
EDIT - Ms Green, that was exceptional. I watched this video like 500 times and it was all because of your performance
Ok I thought I was having an auditory hallucination for a sec LOL. Yeah it fits well!
I can honestly say that this group has always entertained me in whatever they do. So glad to have found you. Best of luck to you all.
@@Pedro_Matilla Thank you. I haven't checked Instagram. But It doesn't really tell anything about the band members. It talks about what your're doing around Halloween and seems to indicate you are or were just in Redwood City (Just 4 hours from me!). I'm a metal head thru and thru never in my lifetime would I listen to anything like this, but this band is freaking awesome. I am a Broken Peach fan from now on.
It's the band. Nothing soft about anything in this team's work. The precision of the singers would be a credit to any military parade drill.
Welcome to the party, pal !
It's a Japanese Alt-Idol group. Lol. Like Broken by the Scream 'Sayonara Birthday'. Except both less weird and more weird at the same time. If anyone can tell me which is weirder?
@@kskssxoxskskss2189 I don't think it's really precise. They aren't doing group choreography. But they are very animated. Lot of personality. They are performing the hell out of it.
Green Hair was wonderfully expressive and spiritual! Liked the injection of a little bit of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)"
So this randomly came up on my playlist among the usual metal and rock and I have to say its the first truly original take on music I have seen for decades. Its crazy, but SPOT ON.
Everyone is pointing out the woman with the green hair. Of course she is incredibly talented, but I have to give a shout out to the entire group, including the guys in the back. They all nailed it, the sum is far greater than the parts.
The singer with the green hair has some amazing moves and facial expressions.
I could not keep my eyes off the green haired woman. Her physical performance was a step above the rest.
her movements were so much more to use a musical term , staccato. she got thesudden hard but brief stops on the beat perfectly, and her expressions while preforming were extremely emotive. the others were not bad, but seemed more fluid never quit getting that sudden stop. the blond on the left, also used her expression to show energy and emotion
Well it makes sense considering she owns the band with her husband (one of the guitarists)
I think the gal, second from the right nails it the best! They are all great!
Ok so I'm colored blind...
Totally agree..Erica her name
