This is one of the best sermons on country living and the call on getting out of the city. Lord Jesus, please bless our family together or part but rather together than apart, be prepared to get out of the city rather than fighting over how to get out of the city and when. Lord God, please forgive our family for selling our grandfathers land and allow us to be able to replace wat we lost for a homestead we can own on our budget without being in great debt and be able to handle it for nothing that we are doing with realtors is working.

Yes...and we all need to personally be reading the SOP and sharing that information with the pastors ...or at least the other members who are truly walking with Jesus...and plan on being useful here in the end. I've tried to for almost 20 years...fell on deaf ears.

Happened to my cousin, but just wondering why you going after SDA so hard? 1,000's of denominations outs there. I don't agree with JW's, but let them live there lives. Maybe ask them some hard questions if I was person to person, but not online spewing about how wrong they are directly to them. If you want to make progress, you got to take a Christian approach and not bash people over the head and expect them to fall in love with you! Jesus DRAWS, not coerces or condemns
I learned to trust God ever. And I have seen His merciful deeds through my country sanctuary. The Lord provided & He still does the same. What an amazing experience in the country living. It is really as long as you let Jesus to lead. We have opened a ministry to share with our community & brothers - sisters who are still in the city. People are enjoying this experience. My only regret is that It took so long to make my decision. Thank you Lord🙏

I'm a 20yr old, my parents are the strict type and they have everything I need because I have not started working, but I feel enough is enough, I want to start Worshipping on SABBATH since they are not. I feel like I will start going to church even though they don't want. What should I really do
You need to pray and ask God what you should do...He is the only one who knows what is best for our lives. Study your Bible daily...you can keep the Sabbath at your home as well as church if need be...ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth and study the Spirit of Prophecy to know what is needful here in the end. The Great Controversy and Ministry of Healing are two excellent places to start. When the Sabbath hours start...sundown on Friday to sundown on Sabbath ...then put away secular things...and spend time with Jesus...and learn what He would have you know. Good channels online are ADTV...Oui Vadis...Clash of Minds. The Total Onslaught Series on yt will get you started in the right direction. When your parents see a change in you...then they might be interested in the reason why : )
Reading the Word of God, the Bible with the power of the Holy Spirit will guide you, giving hope, strength and a clear plan of what is the best way to go forward in your particular situation. I'll be praying for you!🙏

You pray and ask God to provide a country home...and then do what He says...Anyone who has been reading the SOP and living in the country for years most likely will not be open to just allowing anyone to come in and "join" their group who have not bothered to do what God said we should have been doing years ago. It is our personal responsibility to take care of ourselves and our families.
Some people will not find it possible to leave the cities. What should they do? They may not have the money, the means, the health, their youth, etc.

The bible says ro occupy till the end. Not run to the country.
Our homes in the country are to be outposts, not hiding places. We are to travel to the cities from them to do the work of the Lord, while remaining free to grow our own food etc. so that we're not subject to man and his interference of our liberties. We already saw what 2020-22 did to our freedom.
Then stay in the city and witness.

Listen again..and do your own study. You can reach out from your country home to the cities...
two example were Enoch, Noah, and Abraham....they all lived in the countryside and went to preach to the city. Look at the history of the Waldeness another great example.

This sermon just doesn’t make sense in a lot of ways if we critically listen to it and if we look at humanity as a whole
Selling a city home only makes sense if a person is young and rich so they dont have to go to a job every day. Being a farmer is a full time job. You need the youth in your body to be able to live like this. I know! I grew up on 5 acres for 17 yrs. Its alot of work. My husband and I are in our 50's. He can barely walk because of 6 bulging discs in his back. He would be of no help, more of a burden. I work 2 jobs just to be able to live. How on earth is this practical for every SDA Christian? What about the geriatric SDA people in their 70's? This definitely isnt a good decision for them, or SDA folks who are really sick and require 24 hr care and need to be close to a doctor or hospital? It would seem Ellen White's message would be geared to only a certain demographic of people.
Hubby and I are 70/80...in ill health...and have had to move our "gardening" to the driveway using raised beds and felt bags. We have been living in the country for almost 20 years...as God supplied. We have a small garden/orchard in the back of our home which we gardened until last year...when our health got worse and we no longer could function. Soon there will be no doctors/hospitals since Satan's way of healing will be destroyed when people realized that way has destroyed their health...and God's way is the only way to true healing. We have not left home in 4 years and are are own health advocates using God's natural remedies...we don't need doctors or hospitals...only Jesus to lead/guide and direct. No... EGW's message was for our day...if we had listened and not moved to the cities/suburbs...and had stayed in the country...and prepared ...then the world would have been a much healthier safer place...at least for God's true children. I have Ankylosing Sponditylis and have to use a roller walker to get around...and hubby and I both have Chronic Fatigue from Chronic Lyme and "C"...but...we understand the need to raise as much food as possible...and to prepare as best we can to help others. That is our mission...and should have been the mission of every SDA...if they truly believed God's word...and SOP. It can be done...just takes faith in God's word...and a true walk with Jesus.
My husband is eighty with dementia and I’m seventy four and we manage a small garden to provide for our needs and sda neighbors share their surplus with us. God provides. God provides for young and old. Have faith and he will provide for you.
You are blessed to live with SDA neighbors...God provided well : )...hubby is 80...and I'm 70...we both have many autoimmune issues from Chronic Lyme. One of the symptoms is dementia when long term (if undiagnosed/untreated/misdiagnosed). We had a neighbor ( where we use to live before moved from the suburbs to the country)...who was diagnosed with dementia. He had a rare doctor that understood how Lyme can cause dementia...but...can be helped with a couple rounds of doxy. Not saying it will totally "cure" the Lyme (I don't believe in rocky fellons meds ...but...doxy can be a game changer and may in the beginning stages of Lyme...keep it from becoming chronic)...But...he went from having trouble remembering daily routines/etc. to back doing crossword puzzles with pen (never made a mistake . It would worth checking into ...if you have not gone there already. God be with you sister...we are being tried and tested and prepared for what is ahead. @@brightemerald3924

Thank you for sharing. His dementia is not related to Lyme disease but hereditary. We are fortunate to be sharing a home in the country with my sister. We are truly blessed and we praise God every day. We do have good Adventist neighbors. We lived in the city but sold our home and moved to the country on faith. I am just going to say this. More than 98% of Austrians voted for re-unification with Germany and gave the German army a heroes parade while simultaneously the Austrian army got a heroes parade in Berlin and Hitler himself was Austrian. I am so sick of being lied too.

Greetings! God took the children of Israel through the wilderness, and we hope and pray he will do the same when the time is right. Until then, we are advised to make intelligent moves, not rash ones, and this speaker has done much research to provide such a large overview. If you believe there was some particular point that needs more context please direct us to the larger context. Otherwise, one could take the above comment that we should throw the baby out with the bathwater. Blessings.
Your omnipresent view is an error. God is not existing in the future and this He knows the future, no. That is untrue. God has fore knowledge, we have fore knowledge as well, but we don't exist in the future and come back to the past as being present.
The Apostle Paul pronounced a curse on most churches today because the main Christian denominations of today preach a different gospel than what Paul preached. To quote exactly what Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). Both apostle Paul and Peter preached the same gospel and quote from the prophet Joel (2:32) saying, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21). The English translations say “Lord” instead of “Yahweh.” But “Lord” does not translate “Yahweh” it is a substitution of a totally different word altogether. This substitution activates two additional curses because if you substitute a word you are both adding and subtracting at the same time. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18, 19)
We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that Yahweh spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). Yahweh did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). The English word "Lord" is not a translation for the name Yahweh but is a substitution. I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none!
“Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.”
Some people say that they are watching all the time but they overlook verse 38. “And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.” (Luke 12:37-38).
Under normal circumstances people are sound asleep during the second and third watch. Therefore Luke 12 is not talking about watching in a figurative way. The LORD is talking of a literal watch.
There are appointed times in the scriptures for us to fulfill a literal watch. In fact, all of the appointed times of holy convocations (moedim) listed in Leviticus 23 are watches and vigils of Yahweh. Each one of them are fulfilled by both an Old Testament and corresponding New Testament historical event.
In other words they will be assembled together in a holy convocation and not out and about driving cars and flying airplanes. Like the 120 were assembled in the upper room Acts chapter 2 for the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost).
Unfortunately, because of a man-made ecclesiastical calendar many will not be watching at the appointed time when He comes.
So are you saying we separate ourselves from city dwellers and minister to ourselves. City people need to be reached for God. God is not telling everyone to leave the cities- according to the Bible.

@Year1BanditTA Sir most people I know don't travel back to the cities, if they live in the country, to minister. They Stat in the country.
@@paulachinn6306 I'm sure that's true in many cases, but they should go back. It's our Christian duty, just like Titus Morris "minister of the gospel" does :) He's got his own YT channel and is a good example of true Christian living. Not to mention people in the rural areas need the gospel as well, God bless!
