My Blue Diamond ET80 quit working after over a year of continuous use aerating my lake so I called their number and the fellow on the other end couldn't have been more helpful. He told me exactly what the problem was, (blown diaphragms) and dropped some knowledge on me about how the diffuser I was using probably was the cause of the failure. He pointed me to the DS2 diffuser and now it is on the way. Great company.

You may need to change your diffusers (air stone), if blocked they will cause back pressure pressure and blow them

UA-cam to the rescue again. Just received my Blue Diamond Pump with a septic system I am installing. Filled the tank before realizing the pump and components were left inside the tank; and it was totally immersed in fresh clean water. I was trying to figure out if the housing came apart as I removed the four screws but the housing didn't seem to want to separate. I didn't want to force it without knowing how it came apart. Thanks for the demo. A lot of companies keep this stuff secret for some reason.
