Isn't the smolen bid that the responder bids his shorter Major 4 card suit? You mention the 3H bid shows a 5 card H.

A question for the bid at toward the end about 1:23:40, 1NT-2S-2NT-3H-this 2S bid is NOT clubs or ask about strength? If it were, would it change anything in your comments about what the 3H shows and then the subsequent bids?

Teresa Harris this is one that depends on partnership agreement. 2S is usually a club transfer, but can be our invitational bid also. So on the auction you’re referring to the 2 bids that North made were showing clubs and then heart shortness :-)

Hi, question about the hand in 00:17, can responder bid a 4th suit forcing after opener's reverse or is it off?

He can but he only needs a good 8 count or more as opener has reversed

I was sitting on 20 pts (5, 4, 3, 1(A of S)) yesterday and partner opened 1NT. 7NT response bid and made. Partner had to deal with 4-1 club split, but otherwise no problem. I guess perhaps lucky I had 5 clubs.

This is an interesting problem. If you have any agreements with partner that let you find out their range, while making a forcing bid, I would choose one of those 1st and then decide :-). There are so many ways to handle these hands, but sometimes the simplest bid can be the best. Glad it worked out for you :-).
