The cantina will fund no matter what, and that will mean the Tonnika's are going to be two of the rarest carded figures out there assuming that a lot of people are also buying a second set to open, so maybe only 3/4 (very rough estimate) will remain carded. If it backs 10,000 then that means only 7500 will be out there on the market- and most of these will be in collections and not going anywhere. Ungraded they will be starting at $200+ each minimum, so if anyone is on the fence- both Tonnikas will pay for the basic cantina offering!

How about the other four figures coming with the cantina? Greedo will be rereleased, I'm sure, but not so sure about the other three figures. Those should be at least $150 a pop.

So if you sell the only things really worth buying in this set to pay for the set, you end up with a lot of plastic and a bar tender. At the rate it’s going Greedo may fund but the other tiers are doubtful. I would rather just have the twins and the last two tiers over the rest of the play set, but I need to sell the twins and probably won’t reach the other tiers. Seems like a bad deal.

I believe Hasbro failed their own campaign by not setting up characters for the cantina before the Haslab began or atleast pipeline patrons for it. The secondary market for patrons is crazy. So the entry price is high coupled with the high secondary market for patrons makes the 400/500 cantina to 700/800 after populating it. Atleast for a ANH cantina. If you want to do Head Canon cantina then you can save yourself alot of money

Fyi Hasbro put out a video showing how the modulation options for the cantina will allow you to display it on a common shelf if you don’t have a lot of space. My prediction is it will pass the first Greedo tier of 11K but will fall short of the Nabrun tier at 14K.

At least there is an outside chance Hasbro will make him even if he doesn’t get unlocked on the HasLab since they said only his cardback will be exclusive to the HasLab, meaning the figure itself could go mainline release. Depends on if they want to budget for the new tooling for him if it does not get funded through HasLab.

I backed the Haslab Vintage Collection Mos Eisley Cantina basic set. Hopefully all tears will be met so it is worth the $400 base set price. Might as well back it right now anyway because you will not be charged unless it succeeds.

500 USD is basically $685 Canadian. Probably another $100 in shipping and fees. So at say $20 an hour, a Canadian would have to work just under 40 hours and not pay tax on that income.
For plastic. Id kick my own ass if I backed this Haslab

I doubt about getting this. Regular edition: $399.99. Deluxe edition: $499.00. I would rather have the Toonika Sisters and the Bartender figures instead. I also agree on your comment on why Hasbro decided to do this now rather then after SDCC. I did see that the Darth Maul and Sith Speeder for the Black Series will be on sale there. I wish Hasbro could do re make vehicles like Y-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing Fighters, Darth Vader Tie Fighter, Tie Defender, Tie Bomber, etc. Still wanting that TVC ROTS Obi-Wan Kenobi. I have the regular General Grievous and foil proof card. I still want Clone Commander Cody. I have Kit Fitso, Luke Dagobah Landing, Dr Evazan, Walrus Man, and Republic Trooper. That's insane. A Chewbacca on mis carded Lando Solo card. I have both the Tatooine Stormtrooper w/white and orange pauldron. I have ARC Clone Commander. I like the Cantina Band pack. I need the Skiff Guard from Jabba's Goon.

Hasbro team dropped the ball. Design is poorly made and no sounds and lights is really disappointing, the lack of base offering for cantina figures is bad should have been 10 figures or more including tier. I ordered 2 deluxe but at this moment im at the fence might cancel. Huge disappointment
