hello, I’m from Kyrgyzstan, I wanted to ask you, I have an electric porter, I checked all the interlocks, everything is fine, the only problem is that my diagnostics shows 5 volts of voltage and not 0.5, what should I do, help?

Hello, if the diagnostics shows 5 volts of voltage at interlock system, it is because there is an open circuit, so you have to look for broken wiring or only a few strands left in it, or there is a possibility that the wiring has been exposed to water or there is a little water vapor in the interlock connector.

For diagnose interlock circuit we can use current data on the scanner, or in actual vehicle wecan use voltmeter and measure at pin point interlock circuit. at open circuit its usually +- 5V and normally +- 1.5 V.
