It’s clear that Everton fans deserve better. Do they need to get through the season and start afresh like we did with GON/Andoni? Or pull the trigger now? Dyche will keep them up (we think). Changing it up now could benefit them and give a new gaffa more time to assess their predicament ahead of the new season, or would it cost them dear and affect their Premier League status?
Interesting chatter lads and to hear your thoughts. It’s a sorry state of affairs, the fanbase over the past couple months have slowly been getting tired of Dyche and the way we play. We are set up to not score goals and to hoof it up to whatever striker is playing in the hope they can score by a miracle. You could resurrect Dixie Dean and he would struggle to score with these tactics. In an ideal world Dyche would be getting at least what he was getting out the squad from last season and we would shake hands come the end of the season and get a new Manager but the fans are tired of him and his excuses now I feel.
Sitting here almost shouting at the telly “ why does nobody mention Cook!” Then finally you did. Faultless is probably just about right. Breaking up play, driving forwards even playing the occasional great through ball. Even when moved to right back we just don’t worry. Him, Christie and Adams an underrated trio.
Can only apologise as an Evertonian for the horrendous spectacles we serve weekly. 'How do we watch this every week', you're right and we are sick to death of it. Fans are downtrodden hence no optimism/chants from the away end as there's nothing to get behind. Think it's clear we are headed for the drop if Dyche stays, the system is completely dysfunctional. Irony is we conceded from a long ball simply because you committed men forward - we play long ball but don't commit men forward! Kerkez bombs forward and collects the knock on, Evanilson occupies the CBs leaving Brooks in space. We leave 1 or 2 up there at most giving us no chance to score. Pickford the only reason it didn't end 3 or 4 nil. Good luck for rest of the season and hopefully see you at the new stadium with a new manager and squad!
I was at Everton two seasons ago. Lucky for them it was O'Neil in charge and not Iraola for that game as I suspect we'd have been much more up for it and relegated them
Everton are an excellent football club and fans. As a fan at the other end of the country, I am fully aware of the time and cost involved in travelling to support my team. The big difference is that win, lose or draw, i know that I am going to be entertained Unfortunately, the style of play that Everton stick with under Dyche, is so poor whereby we all knew that you were coming for a 0 - 0 draw and hopefully sneak a win with a set piece If it had not been for Pickford, we would have been a couple of goals up at half time and could have gone on to win 3 nil Everton deserve much much more than this and hopefully the new ownership will be the catalyst with better recruitment on and off the pitch IMO Saints and Leicester are down and so the remaining place is probably between Everton, Wolves or Ipswich I believe the Friedkin Group are assessing the situation but it is dire As for us, another 3 points and great strike from Brooks, who is continually proving his worth. 7th is still very doable Ian
This is my thoughts exactly. Everton are a historic team, with proper passionate fans, and they deserve better. Our win at Goodison in the last mins this season must have been gutting, but what's going on now is mind blowing, and not in a good way. I mean, recently, I almost felt for UTD & City fans because of their current state of affairs, but then I remembered 90% of their fans aren't even from England, so I didn't waste too much time on that, but I do feel for Everton. Right now, it's painful to watch them play, so I can barely imagine what it's like for the fans :(
Jordan Pickford was their stand out player who saved them so many times and AI seems to throw in complete curve balls with his selections and subs.😎🍒🍒🍒
Genuinely feel bad for Everton fans. The worst team I’ve seen at Dean Court prior to Everton last weekend was… Everton. Their fans deserve a better brand of football.
I think keep him (Dyche) until they’re pretty safe (maybe 5/6 games to go) then bring in the new guy so he can impose his ideas before the end of season. Michael Carrick perhaps if M’boro don’t go up?
I have never been a Dyche fan and the game proved my reason why, just so horrible to watch. Really pleased for Brooksy to get on the score sheet with an excellent finish. Love the direction the team is going and have total belief in the lads. We fear nobody no matter what the starting line up is. Onwards and upwards 🍒🍒
Hi lads.feel bmth will very quietly be on the lookout for a new 20 million pound striker with the money left over from dom,s sale.incase of injury to evaneison .just my opinion.but dont be surprised.paul from oz .
Great great finish by brooks. Think Everton will go, looking at the amount of yellow cards their defenders have, looks like quite a few will get 2 match bans

Our next 4 matches will be bloody tough with Chelsea (A), Newcastle (A), Liverpool (H), and Nottingham Forest (H) but in Iraola we trust!!!! 🍒

Funnily enough mate we aren’t in bottom 3 and Southampton are far worse than us
@davidgaines9949 you shouldn't be near bottom 3 with a size of your club 😂😂
Can we rename Boscombe Chine to The Kerkez Pass?😁
I think keep him (Dyche) until they’re pretty safe (maybe 5/6 games to go) then bring in the new guy so he can impose his ideas before the end of season. Michael Carrick perhaps if M’boro don’t go up?
Probably bringing in Soler because Kerkez is getting too old to start in our back line next season. I mean he’ll be almost 22!
Brings a whole new meaning to Born..Mouth....
I agree with match of the day that is one of the best goals this season, as for Everton I could not watch that every week
I think they actually said "this year"
Evanilson out for long time
Need a loan striker I think Unal not good enough
I have never been a Dyche fan and the game proved my reason why, just so horrible to watch. Really pleased for Brooksy to get on the score sheet with an excellent finish. Everton our interested in Bournemouth manager that do us . Big club money new state of the art stadium
Sideways move for our manager. Regardless of size of our clubs. More worried about Spurs taking him.
Privileged to see a new chant being born 🍒🍒

Your crystal ball is working well sadly
Great great finish by brooks.

🏆 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 9 times league champions we aspire for 10 league championships
Say Scummers already going down. Say anyone from Leicester City upto Everton are still in the relegation mix
👊👍
👍🍒🍺
Bournemouth going to struggle now without evanilson
