- Fishing Point Loma To Whistler Buoy with my friend Ben. It was very windy ,cold and rough seas but we still caught some fish today. Fishing for Rockfish was tough because we were drifting too fast.We still had a blast and we will have some fresh fish for dinner.

I've got the 28 ft of that version I believe. I've always been told not to take trophies offshore, but it's really well maintained. I don't know when knots but I can get up to about 50 mph with my two-stroke 225.
I have the same boat with a 90 hp why would they say not to go off shore
@@n2wly53 Idk I'm going only thing I don't like about the boat is the platform on the back has way to support the outboard on The trailer, they're. Not the cause to engine break off or anything but I'm starting to get some cracking at the upper connections, repairing it now, And I'm going to leave the engine like a 1/2 inch from fully down sitting on blocks from now on when it's stored.
Looking for a boat just like this new sub by the way!
2007 4 Stroke.We went out Last Sunday.80 miles round trip for one Dorado.Ran very well.
Is that a four stroke?
I am not sure .I purchased the boat new and it is still stock propeller.I have not replaced it yet
how many miles do you go off shore? How does she do on a rough sea. I have 1999 bayliner trophy 1802 likde your bought it use last year working on it almost done plan to go offshore about 40 mile. Thanks, great video
I have been up to 80 miles on this boat and still can go no problems.My fishing trip usually 30 to 40 miles offshore.Heading out Sunday to Mexico.

@@rctuna12 thanks man mine's bigger than yours and I've been scared to take it where the tuna roam I was told the gunnel is too small on the trophy mine is a '97 28 footer

Is the boat beeping four times every 2 min in the beginning of the video that’s not good if so ?
Manual says it is charging the battery.It is still beeping now.Last week it was beeping continuously and it was overheating so I have to check or replace the water pump soon.
@@rctuna12 mine just did the same thing it was oil reservoir got it fixed today it can be overheat and or bad coils also !be careful engine can go into limp mode and leave you screwed mine just did so 24 miles offshore

Tanong ko lng sir bayliner ba gumawa ng trophy, ask ko lng kasi may binebenta sa akin na bayliner 22ft at gusto ko sana makakuha ng idea kung ok ba performance ng bayliner.

how 's the build quality on these?
I bought her new .Well Built.Last trip was over 80 miles round trip and no problems.
I bought a well cared for 2008 4 years ago. It is a very well made boat. I have owned several boats over the years, I am 60. Even my factory top has stainless fitting and hardware. All hinges and latches are stainless, railings and cleats are through bolted with backing plates. I was a little scared at purchase due to the Trophy reputation, but mine is top notch, quality materials. I believe they started getting better after about 2001, really good after 2005 or so. But that was to late to overcome the bad name they had gained, and the line was dropped.
