Missed opportunity to have actual everyday surfers test these boards not just some pro's that will ride anything well and never say something bad. Of course the surfing will not look as good but hearing feedback from intermediate surfers (your target group) is waayyy more enticing imo.
A couple of you in this thread are complaining this is a marketing scheme. Well, how bloody well else are they supposed to sell their boards? I for one found this video highly informative and incredibly entertaining. I’ve been deciding on a new shortboard and went to go buy one this morning here in Sydney. Lets just say I had a competing brand’s model in mind. I put a 6’0 Happy Everyday under my arm and couldn’t put it down. Heading down to the waves right now and had to watch this again to get psyched for her maiden wave. Wish me luck.
Update: it paddles like a dream. Remains really playful underfoot and super FAST making sections. Will be a few more sessions before I can say for sure but it’s fair to say that I absolute I love my new board.
@@joshuahorwitz6458 Thanks for the stoke. We didn't really think the concept through all that well and can see why people would think it's disingenuous. 9/10 of our team loves it, and from our experience that is a super high ratio. Usually lucky if 50% of the team loves a design because there usually is never a one size/one design solution for all surfers. Enjoy!
Rode mine today for the first time (spinetek) in 1ft weak Sydney waves This thing is fast. Absolute rocket. So easy to control. Early days but I reckon its a magic board. More of a grovel vibe than I was expecting, this isn't a HPSB
Hey guys, Have a doubt here I am regular(4 boards in a row) of OG flyer 5.8 (26.4L), want to give it a change , so my options : HappyEveriday 5.7 with same volume for daily surf .. however if I need a small step up for 4 to 6 foot uluwatu (not to big just more barreling), should I go with the TwoHappy 5.9 or 5.10 with same 26.5 L +-(which is my ideal volume, I'm 64kgs, 1.76cms, 35 years of surf)? Or adjust up a bit the volume ?
Hi everyone. I plan to buy an happy everyday board. My size is 5"7 and my weigh 145,5Lb. I'm an beginer/medium suefer. Started 2 years ago, I did lot's of skateboard and snowboard. I whant to surf small waves to 8 feet. Wich size would be better please, 5"8 or 5"9 ? Tx guys
Hey stoked you are interested in a Happy Everyday. What size is your normal shortboard? The Happy Everyday is a great all-around design that sits right between your high performance shortboard (Two Happy) and a step down/groveler (Rocket Wide). If you have a chance, msg us at info@cisurfboards.com, it'll be easier to chat there and get you dialed with the perfect Happy Everyday
Just wondering how this is meant to be ridden? I’m usually 510/511 short board and the 510 is nearly 31L which is huge for what I usually ride. I’m around 27/28L
We recommend an inch to two inches shorter than your normal shortboard, same thickness and about 1/4 inch wider. Hit us up at info@cisurfboards.com and lets get one going!
I currently ride a 5’11 ultra joe, but it’s a little low rocker for our dumpy waves on the Florida Panhandle… do you think this would be appropriate for that waist to chest high range in weak but dumpy waves? I’m getting older and “ripping” less and less each day but still prefer short boards.
looks like a good board. I understand getting their sponsored surfers to test them. it's unfair to ask those sponsored surfers to give an unbiased review. They are never going to say they are rubbish, they'd be biting the hand that feeds them.
Fair comment, maybe naive on our part, but lucky for us it's a great board. We don't pay these guys but they do receive free boards. Can't argue with your point but can only assure you this was genuine and they love it.
Ha. Funny. None of these guys/girls are paid here. Half the team usually doesn't like a model we make, that is the average. 9/10 of the team like this board. That is a winning design from our experience. Sorry to hear you thought this was bullshit.
@@ashleytaylor994 If you're a beginner, the pretty much all seem like good boards as long as they float you, right? However, I'm not trying to take business away from CI, but why would you pay $800 for board when you are basically just trying to go straight and make the wave? Pretty much ANY board would do that, right?
@@surflix4306 Except when "marketing" is basically repackaging things a company has done in the past, or are just very slight variations off long tried-and-true models, so that they can sell it as fresh and new for a premium sticker price.
Doesn’t matter what Mikey’s riding he’ll look better than anyone else 10/10 times.

We'd love to but he's 100% on Timmy's boards.

great question - I am looking at the OG flyer vs this board.
Just picked up a 5'8 yesterday
What dims does Nat ride for this model?
Are these shipping in Spinetek soon?
Good afternoon
question
NB2 Spinetech, NB3 Spinetech, Happy Everyday Spinetech, which one would you choose?
Buddy Holly sold me on it
Actually I'm deciding between 6'0 OG Flyer and this one in 5'11
Can't go wrong with either! volumes are the same at the same dimensions. The main difference would be the rocker and contours.
@@cisurfboards I know. Probably Everyday in 5'11 since I have the good wave/step up board covered

Van this board can handle 6 tit average beach brake?
But will it make average joes like me rip like a pro?
PS: How much you paying them to say they like the board?

Location?
North Shore Oahu
cant decide between NB3 and two happy
Two happy will give you more release than the nb3 also it’s a real HPSB so it’s will knife the water better what waves are you riding ?
Marketing at its finest.
