I don’t use mechanical pencils because I don’t like their grip.Rollerballs bleed through the notebooks I need for school and why use a horrible eraser like that when you can just buy a pack of Sakura foam eraser which is so much better and you get more for the money since you get five of them.(speaking from my experience)
Mapped and stealder erasers are the best . But Doms is the best affordable option . Or you can get campus notebooks or get a notebook with gsm more than 65 . You can use pentel q erase if you don't like the plastic grip , if you don't like rubber then shalaku s is the best.

Wooden pencil sounds affordable but actually mechanical pencil long term me sasti hh cause agr 10-20 rupees ki ek pencil ke 10 refil 5 rupees me aa jate hh, plus you get to choose the darkness too! Colors me bhi ate hh, making it more affordable!!
The main reason i think i prefer normal pencils 1: leads 2: the tip keeps breaking 3: if ur lead runs out then the pencil is useless until u buy more lead 4: if it breaks it cant be used...... No hate but i prefer wood pencils and im not forcing anyone im just sharing my opinion 🙂👍🏻
