For my TRX4M k10 to add weight I got the Traxxas satin chrome beadlocks wheels. Traxxas brass rings, each one weight 31g. It makes a whole lot of difference, I was impressed by the test crawler course in my yard.
The FIRST thing I did with mine was to raise the Body. Stock the wheels will scrub against the wheel arches. It's very easy to do. Underneath the body shell you will see there are 4 mounting screws on each of the assemblies front and rear. Remove these screws and the assemblies and use a 5mm spacer on each of the mountings, you will need 5mm longer screws to do this. I used some old rubber suspension tubes cut into 5mm lengths. My High Trail is now 5mm taller and the wheels do not catch on the wheel arches.
I just installed new wheels and tires as well as removed springs for droop set up. Going to do a video with the same course but testing how the droop/wheels/tires effects it. I also ordered Meus Racing front and rear complete axles with brass so that will be the next next video
Droop setup with new wheels and tires greatly. Now I just need more weight. I want it to have the same type of traction my 1/10s do! I just got an Injora 1/18 trailer so I’m thinking of turning this K10 into a heavy tow pig and then build a separate TRX4M for hardcore crawling

Oh yeah getting low down weight absolutely changes the game with these little trucks

Nice 👍👍. From the point your at without doing a bunch of brass or adding low end weight. Maybe do front Overdrive gearing 🤔
Wow,rc run so cool 👍🤠
Thank you!!
I haven't looked up any upgrades for this yet. I should probably do that now lol
