Here's the basic strategy PHASE 1 (base game fight): -Largely a repeat of the OG Supreme Fight, just break one of its turret... things, then focus on attacking his head. -It now has an HP cap at around 1/8th of health. Let it do the QTE and you'll be able to finish the fight normally. PHASE 2 (pre-cyber buff): -Forced Loss Scenario. Just damage it until it transitions to the Cyber Sonic cutscene. PHASE 3 (SuprEnd) -Break off the wire on its head. If this is not broken then The End will just keep Healing Supreme over the course of the fight. To target it, start a combo on the head then tap one of the Dodge Buttons to swap to the cord, and just wail away until it breaks. -If you see a Shadow Ball, parry it. Shouldn't be an issue on Easy or Normal but keep a keen eye out for them on Hard due to the decreased parry window. -Once its HP is depleted (or it bows down, whatever comes first), do a Quick Cyloop on the back to pull out the gun, then do another QC on the gun once it lands. PHASE 4 (The one that's an Escort Mission) -Largely the same as previous phase but now you have to keep tabs on Sage and the rest of the team so they don't die. -Once again, break the head cord. -Whenever the camera pans close and it starts waving its arms like an idiot, wail on the head and use a Parry once it pans over Supreme's back. -It can also do that Mega Shadow Ball thing if you get hit with a smaller shadow ball, but at that point just go through the fight normally as fast as possible so your 100 rings don't run out. -Couple QTEs and that's it. PHASE 5 (Hedgehog Gun) -This is not actually a phase I'm just here to comment that this scene feels like something out of a Platinum Games title and I love it.

Was losing my mind. Thought that it was a difficulty issue (my game was on hard, so I went to normal then easy). But no, just a dodging that I've never needed until now
I’m not entirely sure if that’s a forced attack because it might be possible to parry all of the spheres to prevent you from getting locked in that cutscene, or trying the quick cyloop to stun Supreme, which could in theory prevent the cutscene from playing out.
On my playthrough. This attack was never used. I may have cyloop locked it but i dont remember. Was very shocked seeming the animation for this in a seperate video. Its really cool
@@diiigitzbeing challenged doesnt make it bad game design, it could be bad since the rest of the game never actually challenged so everyone feels very unprepared. but i disagree its bad game design bc u couldnt get past smth first try
@relative259 I wholeheartedly agree with you. I believe half of the fandom was put off by the update’s difficulty because of how simple the game as a whole was to begin with. However they could’ve done it a little better, like adding optional tips mid battle to make sense of the situation or having some tweaks with the new characters, but otherwise I like the update.
Something I find really cool that not many people are talking about is how this boss actually lowers your max rings with his attacks. Compared to Unleashed giving Super Sonic a health bar and 06 just straight up having Solaris's attacks deplete rings, that's a really creative way of showing The End can damage Super Sonic. Instead of just invalidating Super Sonic's immunity, The End essentially finds a work-around where if he can't lower Sonic's ring count, he'll instead limit the amount of rings he can carry, which has the same result.
I interpret super sonic as being impervious to most damage; not all. As even in the old games; crushing and drowning him could still kill him. Dark Gaia and Solaris are gods, so them hurting sonic isn’t a stretch.
@@BezzyBee03 Yeah that's pretty much how it is. I don't have a problem with how 06 and Unleashed did it, I just find it really cool how Frontiers did it in particular.
@@BezzyBee03yeah, I saw a vid of a dude saying that it was possible that super sonic was able to be damaged by Dark Gaia because he could affect the chaos emeralds directly since he de-powered them at the start of the game and Solaris could damage him because he was a literal 4th dimensional being and he was just straight up that strong
Solaris and Dark Gaia make sense in their respective rights, what I really think is happening is a different form of cyber corruption, one that limits his ring count
Lol imagine if they stuck to the initial plan and had him stay dead. Sonic would have made Shadow look like such a bitch by surviving the same thing himself
@@Speeddemon105I'm surprised that no one here is talking about parallels with Amphibia - both Anne and Sonic use the new power to defeat the main antagonist in the form of a moon and using the robot(s) and both end up using all the power to destroy the moon with ease, but it hurts them badly, although unlike Anne, Sonic doesn't die from it.
When eggman says sonic it’s now or never it just shows how much trust he has in his arch nemesis even though he didn’t want his help but sage urged him to trust him
Eggman: *powers up into him Sonic form* Evil Eggman: What?! Eggman: You and I both know. When it comes down to Eggman and Sonic or literally anyone else and Sonic, Sonic always wins! *Wins the fight in three hits* In case anyone is wondering, this really did happen. Eggman did, in fact, say that.
There's plenty of times in the series that Eggman has relied on sonic to save all of them. He's never been afraid to throw his hands up and admit that a problem is greater than his beef with sonic. SA1 and 2, Sonic Heroes, pretty sure one of the advance games, now Frontiers
@@williamgarcia6901 In the original, sage takes over Supreme, and Supreme and super sonic fight the end. The end gets destroyed but so does Supreme, with sage inside it. But in the post credit scene it's revealed sage is alive.
11:51 i think this cutscene might be the best cinematic in the entire franchise. the music, eggman lining up the shot as sonic is charging up.... i cry EVERY SINGLE TIME
Coolest thing about this fight for me is that while the End is definitely Sonic’s toughest opponent, he still kinda messes around and has fun with the fight, playing with him like he’s done with all the other final bosses. Just shows that while the End is his strongest opponent, Sonic is HIM. Feel like this should humble the End a little lol
The end is the second hardest opponent that Sonic has faced his hardest opponent is Solaris because he needed to be defeated in the past presented and future but the end is no joke and is the hardest opponent that Sonic has faced in a long time
@@Rico3D567he was only difficult because he couldn’t be beaten in one part of time. He needed to be defeated in all. In terms of combat difficulty it is definitely the end. don’t know why people are still down playing it when super sonic needed an upgrade to beat it. Sonic has never been this beaten, exhausted, or pushed to his absolute limit like in this fight
@@terrakage4462well you are right about sonic being pushed to his limit and need a power up to defeat The End but The End was going to destroy the planet Solaris was going to destroy the entire Time line
The End is up there but not THE strongest being Sonic has fought. Probably number 3 Solaris is essentially a dimension eater because of his ability to distort time and space (and also actually destroying the universe enough to have the timeline be reset). Perfect dark Gaia has it's own form of corruption and is also a planetary being that has destroyed the earth multiple times.
Just wanted to toss out something very important about character swapping after the story. Yes, the King Coco is the only method of character swapping (still ridiculous), but stepping on the button off to the side will generate a grab-handle that will save you extra trips up the tower.
I'm just curious as to how so many missed the button? Like so many obstacles in the game had switches that activated shortcuts once you reached the end of them. Did everyone just look at the switch and suddenly forget that? First thing I did when I got to the top was hit that switch
"the King Coco is the only method of character swapping (still ridiculous)" what were they gonna do, use the map switching already present in the base game and ease up on system resources while also using a more intuitive character switching system? (the edit was adding a "?" to the end, because if I didn't, it'd eat me up inside until I forgot I even commented here)
12:38 When snapcube gonna dub sonic frontiers i want Alfred to say "YET AGAIN. I AM PISSING ON THE MOON. TASTE MY ULTIMATE CYBER LASER PISS YOU EVANGELION RIPOFF!" That would be a perfect sequel to eggman's annoucement

12:45 I'm just in love with the lock on reticles reflected on to eggman's goggles. This and the super sonic bullet is just my favorite parts to look at
fun fact: the glasses thing is from sonic 06! it was shown in one (1) cutscene and was kind of forgotten, so it’s awesome that it’s getting a callback!
I can’t believe they went from one of the most underwhelming finales in gaming to one of the most memorable. That classic iconic Sonic sass in just his body language was something I had forgotten how much I was missing. And Roger didn’t have to give us such a kickass anime roar, but he did. He did it for us, man. Fuck dude I love this so much!
I will admit, definitely pretty janky and confusing in places, but all things considered I love it definitely superior to base game, not that anyone is surprised
i see what you did there, and you are rigth, because supreme is just a husk being controlled by the end, its soul its one of the kokos that defend the towers
@@SupportTheLittleGuyThe real missed opportunity was not having the end talking trash and gassing themselves up like in the original ending. Probably my favorite part of the entire game
They did a good job with this boss, ending got me chocked up again and gave us an ending for sage and egg man that made more sense. Immediately thought back to how eggman was on his knees and how heartbreaking that was, to now seeing him get to call sage his daughter. The DLC was a mess in a good amount of parts that really fustrated me but I’ll say they did a darn good job with giving us a final boss fight with references even to freaking fleetway sonic. Now that frontiers is over, what’s next? We can finally say that sonic is truly back.
For everyone asking how to destroy the cord, all you have to do is attack the head and then side step. Do it continuously and it should be gone in a couple seconds. Also, when Supreme is down, remember to Cyloop the gun or you won’t be able to progress.
I have tried many times to replicate the first time I got it, but with no success. If I did not find the advice in the comments. I would have never figured that the side step was necessary for moving the boss forward.
This fight is just MAJESTIC. Fighting the deranged Supreme while The End looms over the planet controlling Supreme. It’s almost toying with you. A genuinely difficult fight that’s extremely cinematic. What an upgrade! My only gripe is that I was really thinking we’d be fighting The End in space with some new form along with the others. But this is still a crazy ending
This fight did Super Sonic some JUSTICE, though! In the main game if you're overleveled, Titans and Guardians just fall in a few shots. But this guy? We actually see the full extent of Super Sonic's strength. This man could barely stand against Dark Gaia or even the Time Eater in the previous games, and now he's smacking Titans like it was nothing! Easily the most peak Super form in the games to date!
Let me give you an idea to make this better at 6:00 play a version of the ultra instinct while watching & try your best at match it with the fight & The ending of it cause man it is... EPIC.

The orchestra absolutely sells this fight, it makes you think your fighting God; and that exactly who The End is. 5:56 GOD AND THEN KELLIN’S SWEEPING VOICE COMES IN. This new final boss really does Supreme and The End justice well Supreme is still the same but when The End came in and took control of Supreme it really made The End a massive threat instead of just the hacking mini game and see Super Sonic getting a power up to take on The End was hype. This should of been the base games final boss
8:23 This attack seems to happen only if you get hit by one of the small orbs (which reduce your max ring count with each hit BTW) after cylooping Supreme’s rifle out of its holster and again to pass it to Eggman. If you get hit by it, you will get dropped to 100 rings no matter what your ring count was beforehand (I don’t know what happens if you have less than 100. Either nothing or instant death I imagine). This seems to be the case regardless of difficulty (unless this was played on Hard/Extreme and One Way Dream was muted at the end). Only way to prevent that is to parry the orbs.
It seems to happen rather specifically on The End's final phase, in which either by getting hit by an orb, or somehow reducing the boss's hp low enough while the heal tube is destroyed. I think this is designed to put some pressure during this last phase, and never had I seen this happen twice so far in the videos.

For those having a hard time with the healing cord I recommend turning off auto combo, while hitting the end doge then the cord will be targeted after that simply wail on it in phase two it will attack your friends barrier hit the end then doge you’ll appear over the end then parry note:you don’t have to time that parry. Before you use your special attack break the cord the same way you did before. Oh wait I forgot you need to quick cyloop on the rail gun holder then the rail gun itself to do that get the end’s health to half or less which is why you need to break the cord once the end is at half or less it the rail gun holder will be targeted also don’t get hit by the energy balls they’ll decrease your max ring count good luck.

Coming here to appreciate the fight, because by the time I got to it and beat it, this DLC had just exhausted me. That horrific boss rush challenge you need to do to get to it. Having to talk to King Koco and slog through the first phase again whenever you die... Figuring out the backwards ass way you attack that chord and actually deal damage to it, and how to actually progress the fight A great fight, but I hope they tweak things a bit to make it less frustrating...
It will be interesting for a death battle with sonic coming back, but super sonic two is part of his arsenal. Super sonic two is a power that I think would be comparable to hyper Sonic.
Super Sonic 2 was something incredible… But we’re talking about 7 emeralds each entering their own superstate. That’s an Unfathomable amount of power that should return in Sonic Adventure 3.
@@BoyleVoices true, but the same time we’ve never had a true grasp of what level of power that hyper sonic and the super emeralds gave especially in a 3-D game. Something that feels akin to This is super Saiyan blue kaioken. Except it’s not just speed that sonic can get it’s pure power.
Hyper Sonic is still far above, each emerald was enhanced. But Super Sonic with Corruption made him more stronger than ever. Since its meant for him to get stronger through inheriting the corruption.
I didn’t wanna have to say this, but my god this fight, as well as the Final Trial, were so hard and were basically trial and error, that it soured this dlc for me...
It's a really good thing this final boss was so damn cool, almost made up for the mess before it. At least leaves me with a good feeling by the end of it.
I’ve seen a lot of people saying that The End is supplying Supreme with power for this boss fight. However, especially shown at the part at 4:32 when The End’s glow surrounds Supreme, I think it is actually just directly transferring its consciousness through the cord. How can this be proven? Well, for starters, the intro with the boss name shows “Supreme” with The End’s name on it, The End’s health bar is the one depleting while you are beating up the Titan, and when you break the cord, The End keeps its dark energy powers that is uses against you. The fake moon it previously had as its body is probably just a massive lifeless power source that connected to it via the aforementioned cord to heal itself. It must have transferred itself back to its fake moon body right before Super Sonic Cyber destroys it, or around 11:32 when “Supreme” was in the air, since it attempts to take Sonic out by self destructing. Also this is one of the best and most climactic Sonic final bosses I have ever seen oh my god
Remember in the gamecube days where the side characters would EXPLAIN the final boss gimmicks during the fights, rather than you having to look up what to do on the internet? I miss those days.
I’ve seen someone comment this earlier, but you have to be aware of when to parry the shadow balls in this fight as you’ll *lose 10 rings* each time you get hit from one. EDIT: To be a bit more specific, the max ring count you have will decrease by 10 each time you get hit, so try not to take too many hits.
Okay, I just wanna comment on this subtle change of Supreme & The End. In the base game, we see Supreme have his classic gun and jetpack, similar to what he had against The End all those years ago. But now with that weird tube attached to Supreme's head, it turns him into a beetle or spider. I think it's funny how the one boss we all shit on for being the easiest just became the biggest threat & true challenge. It definitely kicked up the difficulty and I'm nearly up to this dude on my file. I can't wait to fight this thing!
The final attack was MY favorite part! Where Eggman fired sonic out of the assault rifle, I just got a Sonic x vibe of whenever tails uses sonic as a Missal for the sonic power canon.
I had a lot of fun with frontiers and the DLC, and I would definitely say I have hope going into Sonic's future. Frontiers was good, but it could have been even better with some more polishing! This DLC was a prime example. Some explanation of old and new mechanics (dodging and quick cyloop), some more polishing (THE POP IN), and fixing of jank (knuckles) and artificial difficulty (you already know what I'm talking about) would have made this DLC a masterpiece.
For the major, MAJOR flaws that the {Free, however-} content provided, THIS is an awesome finale. But also that boss rush is pain, think the final free update could do with some tweaks and patches. But overall, cool finale, ain't pissing the bed cause all of it was free in the end.
I see this ending as just another route from a stage you can take to get the goal, and their have been routes in games throughout the years i preferred more than the straight path. This is no exception.
For those who are breaking their controller cuz of the regen here is how to beat the boss 1st phase is just a normal supreme fight. Don't attack Supreme directly you need to break a thing that shoots yellow bullets then supreme will send u flying and shoot yellow arrows that you need to parry in order to attack him. 2nd phase is where it becomes different. The first part of the fight against the end/supreme is a forced loosing scenario. Then Sonic uses supercharge or whatever it's called. Now if you attack the end like a normal boss he will regen cuz you need to unplug the purple wire giving him his health back. In order to do this hit the end and use the side dash button which will make you change target to the wire. If you attack it enough it will get unpluged and the end won't regen anymore. When the end's health reaches 0 use the cycle thing around supreme's gun. Final phase is where Sage builds a barrier. Keep doing like the sec phase until he goes crazy and start moving his arms randomly. You need to attack his head. It will get you in his back where you need to parry his hits (if you don't the end will shoot a power ball hitting the barrier and if the barrier's health reaches 0 it's game over i think). Get the end health bar to 0 again and press the attack button. After a final qte the fight will be over. Congrats !
One Part that's Strink is The End...Doesn't talk after that initial "this will be my vessel" part, I think as a way of saying 'you don't stand a chance, so why bother', but as the battle goes on and Super sonic 2 is shown, it's probably not so much confident as it is...Afraid. this Mortal, who The End KNOWS it can beat even with the emeralds, just attained an even higher power that is treating Supreme like it's a doll, and even knocking sonic out of his super form ISN'T enough to stop him, and is arguably fighting even HARDER on fumes. And then Sonic Goes EVEN FURTHER, Looking like a blue lightning bolt of pure energy and power. Pretty sure Sonic just made the concept of Nihilism Afraid for its life, which is sick.

a forced no recovery timed boss rush that changes fundamental game mechanics (the other titans attacks where very much not made with perfect parry in mind)
sped up enemies or bullet hell enemies for cheap difficulty increase
Here's the basic strategy
PHASE 1 (base game fight):
-Largely a repeat of the OG Supreme Fight, just break one of its turret... things, then focus on attacking his head.
-It now has an HP cap at around 1/8th of health. Let it do the QTE and you'll be able to finish the fight normally.
PHASE 2 (pre-cyber buff):
-Forced Loss Scenario. Just damage it until it transitions to the Cyber Sonic cutscene.
PHASE 3 (SuprEnd)
-Break off the wire on its head.
PHASE 4 (The one that's an Escort Mission)
-Largely the same as previous phase but now you have to keep tabs on Sage and the rest of the team so they don't die.
PHASE 5 (Hedgehog Gun)
-This is not actually a phase I'm just here to comment that this scene feels like something out of a Platinum Games title and I love it.
Question: how do you break the wire? I attacked its head a lot and it never came off.

Coolest thing about this fight for me is that while the End is definitely Sonic’s toughest opponent, he still kinda messes around and has fun with the fight, playing with him like he’s done with all the other final bosses.

This means that The End's durability is greater than Solaris's attack potency.
10:46
I like how (The) Supreme end uses its two actual hands to hit you. I think it shows that it can still stand on its legs.
Remember in the gamecube days where the side characters would EXPLAIN the final boss gimmicks during the fights, rather than you having to look up what to do on the internet? I miss those days.
The End possessing Supreme is strikingly similar to some of PSO's Dark Falz forms. Specifically Elder from 2 and Aegis from NGS.

I hope we get more Sonic games like this in the future.
The final attack was MY favorite part! Where Eggman fired sonic out of the assault rifle, I just got a Sonic x vibe of whenever tails uses sonic as a Missal for the sonic power canon.
BRO WAS LIKE "YOU REALLY THOUGHT THAT WAS IT?? 😏" OH MY GOSH THANK YOU SEGA FOR THIS YALL NAILED HIS PORTRAYAL PERFECTLY 😭❤️
I would like to think this is the canon ending, it's way better than the original both plot wise and the boss itself is awesome
11:34 very impressive!
14:30 Ok, this made me cry a lot...
For the major, MAJOR flaws that the {Free, however-} content provided, THIS is an awesome finale.
But also that boss rush is pain, think the final free update could do with some tweaks and patches.
But overall, cool finale, ain't pissing the bed cause all of it was free in the end.
This is such an Epic way to end this Game.
EPIC I CANT EVEN WIN BECAUSR THE GAME WONT LET ME GET INTO PHASE 2
@xRyukan cyloop the gun when the end is vulnerable. To reach Just dodge mid combo and either quick cyloop or normal cyloop.
Sonic never gives up and instantly re transforms mocking the end telling it it will go down
this mf is so cool
I see this ending as just another route from a stage you can take to get the goal, and their have been routes in games throughout the years i preferred more than the straight path. This is no exception.
Jeez this ending was probably the single most hype and shonen thing I've ever seen in Sonic before.
Absolutely unbelievable.
For those who are breaking their controller cuz of the regen here is how to beat the boss
1st phase is just a normal supreme fight.
Congrats !
8:04 Bro got pose on
bro went full vegito mode 💀
RAGING DRAGON
Being more of an Eggman fan than sonic I’m happy he got a happier ending this time… oh yeah and uh sonic was cool too I guess
In the morning, Rouge, Omega, Sliver and Blaze are wondering if Shadow’s alright.
Blaze: (Erica Lindbeck) What’s wrong, Rouge? You’re still thinking about Shadow?
Rouge: (Kazumi Evans) Yeah. Shadow and I have been friends ever since the first time on the Ark. I hope he’s alright. I don’t want to be gone like he did during the battle aboard the Ark.
Sliver: (Bryce Papenbrook) I’m sure he’s okay. Besides, he saved us from the cages on the islands. And we help him save the world together because he got us.
Rouge: You’re right, Sliver.
Shadow: (Ian Hanlin) You thought I was gone, were you?
Rouge: (Gasps) Shadow. You’re alive!
Sliver and Blaze: Shadow!
E-123 Omega: (Aaron LaPlante) Are you alright?
Shadow: Yes, Omega. I survived. I saved Sonic and took back to his friends so he can go home with them. And guess what? I’m back.
Rouge: Yeah. Thanks for you, Shadow, the world is safe, because you decided to help Sonic and us to get the Emeralds in order to save the world. Good job. (Hugs Shadow)
Shadow: (Hugs Rouge) Thanks.
Ha! Amy hugs sonic! Mega cute! 14:12 I’m glad sonic hugs back
