If you want to peel garlic quickly, try using a whisk. If you want to heat a cup of milk in the microwave, make sure you place it on the outside of the turntable. Don't risk hurting yourself by grating potatoes: use a fork to rub them over the grater.
If you have to peel a lot of onions, just cut off the ends and shake them vigorously in a pot with the lid on. The best way to keep lettuce fresh for longer, is to cut off the stem and place the leaves in a container of water. If you want to fry something but don't want to make a mess, you can place a sheet of baking paper in the pan before pouring in the oil. The easiest way to remove the stem from a lettuce, is to repeatedly bang it on a surface.
Store unused lemon juice to avoid wasting time every time you need it in the future. If you have organic lemons, try grating the peel and adding it to some oil to create a wonderful flavoring for your dishes.

What’s so great about that?… thought it will also peel the pods.
I wish people would stop saying hack and say “this is how I do it”…

The parchment paper will not catch fire but don't leave it hanging over the edge of the pan.

Call it "Tips in the kitchen". Some are ridiculous, like using a clean pot to shake onions peel off, then I'll have to wash a pot. Wasting a kid's balloon to peel garlic, I use a wide knife blade & gently bang garlic on board .....
