- Russia’s military on Tuesday began drills involving tactical nuclear weapons that were announced by Russian authorities earlier this month in an apparent warning to senior Western officials who had spoken about the possibility of deeper involvement in the so-called "special military operation" in Ukraine.
It was the first time Russia has publicly announced drills involving tactical nuclear weapons, although its strategic nuclear forces regularly hold exercises.
According to a statement by the Defense Ministry released Tuesday, the first stage of the new drills envisioned “practical training in the preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons,” including nuclear-capable Kinzhal and Iskander missiles. Read more: bit.ly/3QQY0u3

Better yet, ask the Ukrainian people living in the 1/5th area of the eastern Ukrainian homeland that was seized by Russia and continues to be occupied till this day. Those ethnic Russians support Putin. Putin and his military have achieved ALL their goals. Putin NEVER claimed he would seize all of Ukraine. The western media made that assertion. I don't support him and would love for Ukraine to win. However, the Russian army is winning this war. 100%. The Ukrainian military is achieving insignificant victories where it doesn't matter. They just keep poking the Russian bear. The world HAS NOT seen the Russian Army's best. The Russians are fighting a long war based on [attrition] and are in a full blown war economy.
