How to INSTALL a Garmin Fish Finder

- We are featuring today, our Garmin Striker 7" fish finder. This is a great add on for your Stryker inflatable boat. A fishfinder comes in 2 parts, a display and a transducer that are connected to each other via cables or over Wifi, depending on the model of fishfinder you buy or own. A transducer is the part that looks for fish underwater. Easy to install on a Scotty fish finder mount. We have installed a loom to protect the wires and have attached these to the military grade lifeline with zap straps. We are using a modified suction cup from Amazon to bolt the transducer to the transom and done! This fish finder is extremely easy to use.
Thanks for watching!

Awesome like the videos and makes me feel more confident in getting a Stryker Boat!
Call us when you're ready ⚓
Do you have interference issues from having the transducer mounted close to the propeller?
The transducer, being that close to the propeller does it interfere with the readings at all?
Hi Jared
Love the video.
Just wondering where you get your "Zap Strap" from. I have never seen them.
Smooth waters
Thanks
Hey Jared, have almost the same setup; 9.9 Merc ELH, Pro 380 and Garmin 9". Any suggestions on size of battery?
I run a group 27 marine starting battery in a Minn Kota box. Very happy with it
@@StrykerInflatableBoats Great, thx!
What suction cup to hold onto the boat?
Links for the setup?
