I would like to see the Phantom fight upper-class villains with superhuman powers! enhanced conditions; superhuman strength, intelligence, speed and agility, enhanced combat fighting like martial arts, military skills, and warfare, using powerful weapons, and more!

Thank you for your comments on the UA-cam channel Darren.
Just remember that while some of the Phantom villains compared to the Marvel and DC universe are not as exciting but the Phantom is not in the superhuman universe. He is based in a universe as real as what we live in - when was the last time you saw a meta human?
About fighting against villains with enhanced natural abilities like martial arts, military skills, powerful weapons etc I would suggest stories featuring bad guys like Lubanga, General Bababu, Manuel Ortega, The Nomad and The Python. At stages they all wreck havoc on the Phantom and in some stages even defeated him in various fights.
We also have a cool podcast chat about villains which you can watch / listen here: www.chroniclechamber.com/post/x-band-the-phantom-podcast-172-our-top-10-phantom-villains

Must admit, it appealed to my sense of mischief to tease the groaner of the year 7/year 8 cliche on January 15, 2024 the first day of "The Chain." On the 16th, of course, Wrack & Ruin remains real, as it must. I don't want to say much about what "The Chain" means (what its recurring images mean) but when the story ends it should be apparent how "The Chain" puts the Wrack & Ruin material into a context we haven't seen before. Which is not to say Wrack & Ruin is going anywhere; it isn't. It's baked into the universe now. But there are still things to discover about it. The Phantom's about to make one of those discoveries. When you see what's on his mind in the closing week, you might be even more surprised by what doesn't even enter his thinking.

You read it here first pholks! A new tease for us to keep an eye out on at the end of next week. Also thank you for confirming that the chain dream sequence will make more sense at the end of this current part / story. I know the boys where concerned they must have missed something.
Thank you Tony for your comments. Also thank you for listening to our podcast and the ramblings of some phans. Any replies to ruining some childhood memories of Dan and Jermayn?

@@Chroniclechamber Readers are free to think what they like, of course, but it's okay with me if some have been properly disillusioned about the 1953 tale that never happened. To be freed of one's illusions and suddenly see things as they are, this is a good thing. 🙂
About the story seeming like one story morphing into another, some of that is inherent in the nature of a narrative that takes place in 24 hours. Not that this is exactly Mrs. Dalloway or Ulysses, you understand, but a day in the life of the Phantom is bound to start here and go there. He doesn't know where it's going. But he'll know it when he gets there.

      Yes! Great eyes.
There was a great discussion on our social media about these covers from several cover artists in Glenn Lumsden and Ankit Mitra. We would suggest digging out the conversation.
