Apparently they made a mistake on some the gloves in Morytania and they won't be as strong. They effectively doubled the damage boost from the barrows sets that have one.
I think the Thunder Kopesh may have missed because the 3x3 area is all in front of the player. Which would usually be worse unless enemies couldn't attack you from the side somehow.
One thing maybe not mentioned about the tome from Kand, it kind of pigeon holes you into going Fremmy for DS2 for wrath runes to cast surge and Kand for the tome itself. Kind of a bigger downside than some may want
Youre already pigeonholed into fremmenik anyways on most builds due to the obscene stats the ring & amulet give, so kandarin isnt any different in that.

After running the calculations of Drygore with my region's (DFV) BiS against even stuff like the Muspah the Drygore outdoes the TBow against it's ranged phase and is only outdone by the Tbow by like 1% against its melee phase. Even against Sire's 200 Magic level the Drygore was going for 11.8 DPS against the TBow's 10.0. These were all using their dragon ammunition and I was taking into account the grimoire that allows for using Rigor. These aren't taking into account of the combat relics though since we don't know what they are yet.
Idk I’m really not gripped by these weapons. They’re very good! But most (not all) i think are not super broken in terms of leagues.I’m looking forward to the rest of the relics being revealed. I hope they’re not tieing combat relics to weapons. I love being able to use anything and everything more than just whipping out a single nuke machine.
Why do you compare the spear to the fang without an offhand? It seems like the Fang or a lot of 1h weapons will blow the spear out of the water if you use it with the wildy shield or even a defender.
The nature reprisal has melee appeal for having 7 range which opens up interesting melee opportunities. Melee relics will be balanced assumihg youre entering melee range presumably too so thatll be a point too
The problem I see with this level of speculation is that it’s all entirely meaningless without knowing relics and combat masteries. They could very easily skew this into irrelevance due to any number of factors.
No, they are for Leagues only. Leagues throws in lots of powerful items and abilities that together will make the game totally broken, but breaking the game is okay because the Leagues are only temporary. The concept of echo bosses may be added down the line in the main game if they are a hit in the league, but if so the concept would be reworked to better suit the main game, and the rewards would either be nerfed, or completely different.
The more they release, the more it looks like most regions will be decent but Desert and Frem works good, but you'll need some decent melee gear in the 3rd region if you plan to raid.
@@miroslavvalchev5463 I'd recommend Asgarnia, can get Bandos/Armadyl armour for melee and ranged. As you have Desert unlocked you can kill Leviathan for Virtus set for mage if necessary. Just off the top of my head thinking, could be better alternatives
Yaaaaaa. Even as someone taking Varlamore, I'm just going to ignore the Varla items lol. Seems so tough locking it behind echo Sol. Pretty excited for the Hespori Salamander though. I also think the W/T/F build is going to be super cool to see. Get that Wildy weapon popping off.
I was thinking the same thing, 60 accuracy alone is insane for something that rolls twice, let alone the ranged str... frem desert seems very strong considering how much it complements all styles(is very good choice for boosting your ranged and mage stats) and then your still open to take morytania melee, or kourend melee/mage... or ofc go ranged
@@francisbalfour1243 Natures reprisal is 4 tick range and 5 tick melee and mage. The reason harm is better for the mage weapon is just because it's 4 tick and whilst Ahrims is good, when you add in the staff for the set effect, you lose a tonne of dps.
@LilratbagsOsrs kinda weird that the animation in the teaser release video had it attacking at incorrect speeds. The doubled set effect from ahrims is greater than the lost damage by not using nm staff ances though Harm + anc is 24% mage dmg (2t if we get the 2x speed rounded down) Ahrims is base 8% + (0.5 x 60%) from the doubled amulet damned (38% at 2t if again 2x speed rounded down)
Wondering if it would be pretty insane all in one setup to combine echo rewards from Tirannwn+Kourend+Fremenniks (full crystal 15% dmg+30% accuracy boost, natures reprisal and the ring+amulet from fremennik) especially if you were to do lets say cox🤔

Tested on olm melee hand as the target for a baseline, with overload+ and best offensive prayer in the regions avail. Tirannwn+Kourend+Fremennik = 12.58 dps with scythe Tirannwn+Kourend+kandarin(piety) = 11.347 dps with scythe Tirannwn+Kourend+varlamore = 10.599 dps with scythe Kandarin+Fremennik+kourend = 11.562 dps with scythe Tirannwn + Fremennik + Kandarin = 11.500 dps with soulreaper (no kourend but im still using olm for baseline) Tirranwn + Fremennik + Varlamore = 10.98712 dps with soulreaper Fremennik + Asgarnia + Kourend = 11.314 dps with scythe These are without any combat relics/masteries so take with a grain of salt.
Most people with mage are going Kourend instead of desert, but desert is decent to. So with Fremennik you can go Kandarin for a good starter region and dragon hunter wand, Kandarin for the bracelet or wildy for the cape. The last region really doesn't add much really.
Im going desert for shadow and water tomb. Frem for surge to boost that water tomb along with necklace ,ring to get me by until shadow. Virtus from duke. Then im kinda forced into a skill region likely asgarnia acb then zcb to help in toa and bandos - fang for baba, kephrie. And to make vorkath easier. Looks solid for all 3 combat styles plus the dogsword to destroy bosses def.
Next time, Please use Gearscape for calculations. The League echo items are included in that. Easier to calculate instead of making an estimate. Great video!
Not only that, but the gear setups he's using are not even possible to obtain in leagues. Additionally i'm assuming he's calculating dps for fire surge which requires fremenik for wrath runes. Shadow vs fire surge dps comparison on a fire weak boss already is kind of a sketchy comparison, but this just feels misleading. Would have liked to see more realistic gear setups on more relevant bosses

@ one guy works 10 hour days one is a streamer.. with all regions unlocked the gap is massive in points… Region lock creates a subtle equity Inclusion of the people who cant play as often And diversity of areas so you might rebond a alt account because you want to pick another region

They are probably testing the waters for future rewards. It would be sad to get a watered down version of echo weapons in the future though.

Fremmy ring and amulet are really good. Only major downside in my mind is that the amulet competes with bloodfury

The desert alone is an amazing region. Low Def masori, all 3 raid megas and the kqbp is amazing.
The spear is 2 handed though, so you could pair the fang or zombie axe with say... Thousand dragon ward. Cant do thst with the sunlit spear

The question everyone needs to ask the devs is, does the drygore blowpipe have the strength of a charged blowpipe or not, it makes a huge difference.

Ahrim doesn't give you 35% dps lol. It gives 20%. 50% chance for 30% damage = 15% and 5% on staff itself.

the tirranwn item doesn't need you to have full crystal armour btw, so you can wear full torva/void on top of the blessing to get both benefits
