Unless you're going up against Edison, who actively used monopoly to force competing entrepreneurs out, and tried to tank the establishment of the movie industry.
This video has such historic significance now, and every year it becomes further in the past it becomes more valuable as one of the first instances of technology allowing us to see and hear people we only ever saw pictures of or read textbook chapter sections about. I didn't even know it was possible to hear the voice of Henry Ford so I decided to look it up, and then saw this clip and I'm just astounded
same. i am absolutely blown away that i just watched thomas edison and henry ford on video together. my life has greatly improved after seeing this historic moment in time
This event was attended by a Who's Who of celebrities, dignitaries, Presidents and others. There is a painting at the Henry Ford that shows the attendees and where they sat during the event. This event occurred very close to the date of the Black Tuesday NYSE stock market crash and the beginning of the Great Depression.
I love to visit the camper the “vagabonds” Henry Ford, Thomas A Edison, and Harvey Firestone used to go camping in, and try to imagine being a fly on a tree nearby listening to the varied and amazing conversations they would have had….
Henry Ford was a good man, the Elon Musk of his time. Make sure you read his book, or listen to an audio version, it's incredibly detailed, thorough and full of incredible wisdom. The type of knowledge most commoners won't ever know, and history that is extremely suppressed.

Henry Ford's grandson William married Harvey Firestone Sr.'s granddaughter Martha. Which means their children, grandchildren, etc. - are all descendants of Ford and Firestone! How cool is that? 😃😄😁
for those who hear and see with true eyes those are the ones they care only since they do exist sometimes you have maybe to take the hit or not that´s the beauty haha
by my math ...Edison at- 52'yrs and Henry ford at 38'yrs - in 1929 (height of the 2nd "great war")... 14 years difference in age. (tell me what i did wrong?5/21/19) these guys changed manufacturing. Rockefeller died 8 years later. ... these 3 men created all things that make the modern car.... fuel, electric and engineering
we get told the same thing today but the results are much different. back in this time companies did pay good wages (for the most part), and look at the profits companies are keeping from the working class today! companies are making like 100 billion times more profit and yet the employees aren't making squat.
As true today as they day he said it. Without work and study, a man has no chance. I feel bad for many of the young men today. I see them in and out of my shop daily through the temp agency. They have a feeling of want for money, respect, a good job, but they completely lack the drive to do the work to get it. They're late daily, if they show up at all. They're more concerned with their next bag of weed than studying anything. Most of them have had poor role models of men in their lives, if they had one at all. It's a terrible waste of talent of the people of this country. So all you young men out there, get to it. You don't need to go to college to learn, go to your local library. Get some drive! Do something with your life! Man, I sound old. I'm not young, but not old enough for that lecture, lol.....
IF A YOUNG MAN MAKES UP HIS MIND TO WORK THERE’S NO LIMIT TO WHAT HE CAN DO

You can indirectly thank Ford for being able to purchase any car at an affordable cost and the 5 day 40 hour work week.
Henry Ford had a place in Dearborn Michigan next to a stream and a tennis court

Ford screams into Edison's ear "Answer that question now!" What was that all about? If he's hard of hearing, how did he hear the question?!
Edison was actually quite deaf. They must've discussed the question before the interview and then given him that as the cue.
Hmm. Me and Hitler had something in common. We both love Henry Ford
Henry Ford and Thomas Edison, 2 great white men of history!

What most of you here don’t seem to realize, is the fact that Thomas Edison revolutionised the modern world even more than Ford did.

Hmm, Edison was born in 1847 so he was 82 in 1929, and died 2 years later. And Henry Ford was born in 1863, making him 66 in 1929...
Cool!

Was Thomas hard of hearing at this point, because Henry had to talk loud to Thomas's ear.
samoanfun11 Yeah, I’m pretty sure he was.
Yeah, he cranked up his tunes too loud on the music box and phonograph.
He was hard of hearing since his early teens.
Edison had been HoH in one ear and completely deaf in the other since he was 14
