      Unless you're going up against Edison, who actively used monopoly to force competing entrepreneurs out, and tried to tank the establishment of the movie industry.

    This video has such historic significance now, and every year it becomes further in the past it becomes more valuable as one of the first instances of technology allowing us to see and hear people we only ever saw pictures of or read textbook chapter sections about. I didn't even know it was possible to hear the voice of Henry Ford so I decided to look it up, and then saw this clip and I'm just astounded

    these guys changed manufacturing. Rockefeller died 8 years later. ... these 3 men created all things that make the modern car.... fuel, electric and engineering

  • @user-qt5eh9wb7g
    @user-qt5eh9wb7g 3 роки тому +2

    As true today as they day he said it. Without work and study, a man has no chance. I feel bad for many of the young men today. I see them in and out of my shop daily through the temp agency. They have a feeling of want for money, respect, a good job, but they completely lack the drive to do the work to get it. They're late daily, if they show up at all. They're more concerned with their next bag of weed than studying anything. Most of them have had poor role models of men in their lives, if they had one at all. It's a terrible waste of talent of the people of this country. So all you young men out there, get to it. You don't need to go to college to learn, go to your local library. Get some drive! Do something with your life!
    Man, I sound old. I'm not young, but not old enough for that lecture, lol.....
