I live in the USA and it seems that the majority of Model T Ford related videos are made by Model T enthusiasts in the USA. With this in mind it's really cool to see that there are actually Model T Ford enthusiasts in the UK. I expected all of the Model T Fords in this video to be left hand drive drive models from the USA so it was suprising to me to see all the Model Ts in he in this video were all right hand drive!
Neil’s trip to the Model T stash was excellent. Friends here are very much into Ts. One guy inherited several from his grandfather and we love seeing those 100 year old cars show up
I so love waking up and finding you've made a new vid, make some some real strong coffee and sit back and enjoy. Not only great watching a artist at work but a great sound track and editing that puts many a professional youtube channels to shame.
Looks like you and I have exactly the same weather. Pennsylvania and the uK....whoda thunk it? I just gave my 1920 Porsche 914 to my friend because I just do not have the room or the funds to take on that project. I am really close to being able to start on my 1928 Morgan/Pembleton build. Really awesome video this week. Great part about the terrifying T driving. You are doing incredible things that look awesome with stuff other people couldn't envision. You have a real talent for visualizing parts in their native or raw form. I wish we lived closer. If you ever come across the pond you will have to stay for a spell.
I'm finding it hard to get out in the barn and build my own "leaf" on account of my barn not being centrally heated! Then I watch Mr Oakswamp working away on his car build, in the ice and the rain. I put his determination and enthusiasm down to sheer bloody mindedness, possibly aided by him adding a little antifreeze to his breakfast cereal. Brilliant and highly entertaining as always. Highly addictive to watch.
A bloke who acknowledges his short-comings, works harder to overcome them. I reckon your bodywork is really good considering the materials you are using
its kinda taking shape and im getting more in to it which is nice ..its a pretty basic build ...i really need to get funky but they are coming next year! cheers as always dude
Completely impressed with your ability to look at a pile of assorted metal and find just the part you need. As always great job, and keep up the good work.
Loved Neil's shopping trip to the T barn. My first car, at the age of 15, was a '27 T Tudor. I recall an old fictional tale about a gear head who was confused & disappointed hearing that his recently deceased car dealer uncle had bequeathed him a tea warehouse in another city. When the heir went to inspect his pro, he found it to be a "T" warehouse! Maybe not so fictional after all. 🙂 Another entertaining production. Clever tail light mount! Looking good. Thank you.
motivating, can do, will do attitude and a wee bit more patience and the panel work would be spot on as well.. Lord Fauntleroy's bit on the Model T's was interesting too.
Some great banjo in the mix - your fabrications are safe and solid and if it looks ratty ... thought that was the idea. Didn't realise that Shane had passed away, what a character - stay safe
@@oakswamp nothing new of our own, just the same 10+ unfinished projects, a couple of interesting new customer cars and a big push on modernizing the workshop.
Not only do you post great videos but you also support local bands. I loved the Doghouse Boat Boys as their music fitted in so well. I can already see next year's project - a 27 T old school hot rod with a tuned original motor!
I just found your channel today, liked and subscribed. You build the way I do as I collect all sorts of steel shapes for rat rod builds. I built a 41 Ford truck on 74 C10 chassis and now I’m building a Willys Jeep USAF with homemade frame and 350 Chevy power. The music is great and reminds me of a local band here “Mad Dog and the Smokin’ Js”. Cheers from Denver CO USA
nice one thanks ...check out "the hook" I had just started yt so its a bit slow but i recon you will dig the truck !...ua-cam.com/play/PLSKF0hmsRbAAAQVl0xcbz66bAO9BeJ00V.html
I’ll check that out, love the Rover engine, similar to the old aluminum Buick V8. I also regularly watch Cold War Motors; Scott is working up a Rover for his sister
Some great fabrication in this vid, and "Bracket of the Day" for the back light. Those Mini shocks work a treat. Well done on the tapers, by the way; I thought they would be a trip to your local machine shop. Nice to remember Shane. Model Ts look scary ( I bet he gets it ).
hey Walt ...im all about shabby mate hahah , we are working on a grey that goes with it ...it didnt work on the grey of the other shirt ....what do you think about a grubby green colour? cheers mate
All of your work just looks so right! How do you do it Bryan? Even the lamp bracket looks like something they would have done in the day, great stuff my man!
Arrrrr my addiction is not getting any better ,Still hanging out to see what ingenious bit back yard engineering you come up with next mate . As usual another quality vid mate . What is Neals illness for a T 😋😋

Good morning! I too got up today, grabbed a cuppa and settled down to watch your finished vid. I sometimes forget how ingenious you are while you are buried in your work in the garage. I have a question about registering something like this being a mis matched engine, frame, body ect. What would it be registered as on the v5.
hi, on this car the chassis steering axles brakes are all still intact and are austin 12 , it is registered as so, but will require rebody notification and will not be legible for mot exemption due to the modification ...the engine is immaterial to the v5 other than its cc

hahahah thanks dude

Mate, you don't have to put music over every shot of you hammering or welding or whatever. It gets a bit annoying. Save it for the longer montages.
