He probably figured it out their first game and just exploited him hard. Samus was good though very nice movement and neutral. He just got cheesed like wayyy too much

Actually its not that hard to do it, but the opponent needs to be in a small window of % and if they DI away the second one will be soft ba a lot of the times. That being saied, recovering after the third one is not that easy, and it looks incredible when pulled off

Reading comments on literally any Samus set on VGBC uploads shows you how many kids just do not have the attention span to appreciate gameplay from any character that isn’t rush down. Teaser got psyched out and kept making the same mistakes/falling back on bad habits. He adapted a little in the second set but the nerves got to him. I think his fundamentals are solid, just needs to work on mentality.
I watched this set for Samus, not Fatality, because I thought he would lose due to the lenght of the video lol And you're right. Fatality has also so many flaws as a player that Teaser didn't capitalize. So many options where Samus could gimp C. Falcon easily because Fatality overextended. Teaser was not innovative in his gameplan, I would love to see Samus being brave, doing down airs, more Smash attacks, I think the combo down throw > up Smash could be true on Falcon at low percents, maybe throwing some random disjointed hitboxes to keep Falcon away (like zair or missiles). But yeah, Teaser needs to work on focusing in the opponent
Samus is ok to play against. I am a Falcon Main and my buddy plays Samus a lot, if not too campy Samus proves an interesting „platforming“ challenge where the Falcon player uses superior movement to avoid her hitboxes and the samus player tries to cover falcons options with her superior kit

His speed and power allows him to push you to whatever part of the stage he wants to play in and has an excellent advantage state. I've never played against Fatality but I have played a looooott of Falcon players and all seem to be able to close out a stock incredibly early. None as quick as that last game but Fatality definitely is a different kind of godlike. Mad repect for how far he's come and how hard he's worked! He's a lab fiend that absolutely deserves the praise.

To be fair, Samus is a horizontal zoner and captain falcon's air-born rushdown is some of the best available in Ultimate. Most notably his grounded run-speed-jump enables him to engage from the air at almost any mid-range real fast.
You should watch the Winner finals set between the two. In reality Teaser pretty much played the same way as he did when he barely beat Fatality 2-3. Fatality got camped hard and wasn’t getting any air dodge reads. Neutral B carried Teaser. It looks like Fatality learned how to space himself and approach him. After that it was all reads and predictions.
Teaser was in my region not too long ago. He thrives off destroying you not knowing his habits so he can usually take that first set because his neutral game is so strong but once you see the obv holes everything just kinda falls apart
Gotta bomb dodge instead of air dodge offstage sometimes. Also is missile not good here? I feel like it should be a decent wall out option when charge shot is small.
Throwing out missile is dangerous/difficult against Falcon because of how good his dash attack is and how slow the missile comes out in comparison. A player like Fatality is going to react to it at close range and beat the startup with dash attack most of the time, or just jump over it/block it then run in again when he's farther away.
It happens when you land on the very edge of the stage or a platform, not exactly sure of the specifics of why it happens though. You can also use it to cancel the landing lag of your aerials if you land during the move's auto cancel window too afaik

At the same time i cant understand some of teaser’s choices though, like he kept creating these 50-50 situations where the risk-reward overwhelmingly favoured fatality with the charge shot camping in the corner when he’s at 60ish-100ish percent. At those percents it’s like rock paper scissors: if you win you get a not full charge shot on falcon and neutral reset (falcon survives that till like almost 200% so very meh) but if you lose your stock goes seeeyaa
Hard to say he played well when he got air dodge read like 20 times and rolled to the corner to give fatality the Nair 1 to dair alley oop another 20 times
Samus players can’t help running away and putting themselves as close to the blast zone as possible. Every time fatality touched him he was already off stage for the down air
