This must be my 8th or so Christmas following you and it’s always been a tradition to watch all your Christmas videos the same night they come out, but I just took my decorations down yesterday and have waited until now to watch this, as a fellow Christmas freak I just couldn’t feel it year AT ALL, having been in lockdown too since August and I found it depressing watching anything Christmas related - now my decorations are down I’m fine!! Miss your videos
I love watching your decorating videos! They are always perfectly styled! The tree & living area is all decorated & so is the front of the house, but in the last couple of years I’ve put Christmas ‘themed’ bedding in my room. This year I have a red and white Christmas throw to add and i’ll be putting my mini tree on my desk…but other than that the other rooms of the house don’t really get decorated (maybe the dining room a bit)

It's the most wonderful time of the year, when we Rach uploading her festive decorative cheer, it's the most wonderful time of the year. (Totally have been coming up with Christmas carol songs while I watched this.)
This is also where I say that our Christmas tree did not come down at the start of 2020. Usually the tree goes up after Thanksgiving and comes down in January of the following year after Three Kings Day (when you live in a biracial/bicultural home it means a lot more holidays). And well we all know what happened in 2020, and so our Christmas tree has been up two whole years now, we have been adding new ornaments as we buy them since one tradition is that we all get at least one new ornament every year. While the tree has been up that doesn't mean the lights have been on, they're officially being turned on sometime this week since it's the first of December.
As always, I'm so excited to have seen this Rach. Love all of the new and familiar decorations and lots of good tips that I'm sure we'll be using when we actually take our tree down (hopefully in January of 2022, fingers crossed that it happens). I can't wait to see more since we all know there is always more Christmas here.
YAY its Festive season. I decorated the house on my birthday (October 30) this year. and I did mom and dad's last week. :-) I have two advent calendars... chocolate and a LEGO Harry Potter one haha

@@munajedski I've never worked that long of a shift. But my husband used to work 6pm to 6am. At the moment I work 11pm to 4:30 am.

@@B_27 I think that if you are watching Christmas decorating videos with the mindset to criticize people’s word choices, grammatical or spelling mistakes then you are missing the whole point of these heartwarming & inspiring videos. Your comments make me sad, Rachael is a bright light every Christmas - many of us look forward to her decorating videos. She has a beautiful personality and speaks well - it’s not human to speak and spell correctly & perfectly 100% of the time, no one does. You should delete your comments, they are so toxic, is that truly what you want to represent you? I hope not.
@@SheenaShines As someone who doesn't make UA-cam videos, I did not know there were penalties involved for saying certain words so I was confused by the use of the word "panoramic" as I've not heard anyone say that as a way of censoring themselves. It has nothing to do with me "missing the whole point of the video".
If correcting someone's spelling is your idea of toxic, you really need to get out more. I hate to break it to you but there are much worse things going on in the world. Personally, I appreciate someone correcting me, it's how you learn.
