That is great to hear mate. I take them out as much as possible or as much as they want to. They got a real sense of achievement when we filled our bag out, It was fantastic!
Sure thing Andy, I use a locked blood knot to tie the small treble on to the a length of 15-30lb braid first, then use a simple half hitch to fix it to the eye of the jig head hook. Well it’s more like 4-5 half hitches but the first one is where I determine the correct length. If you scroll down the list you will find a clip I done on the use of stingers for vertically fishing yellas which explains it in more detail.
What a memory to have 👌
Definitely and we are making more all the time

Great effort guys, brought back memories of fishing with my two boys, they grow up quick and trips like these become very special memories, well done.

Well fished boys!
Thanks mate, the fish didn’t make it easy but that’s how it is sometimes.
Good watching Dan, it was tuff but made a good weekend with family in the boat
Thanks mate, it was a great weekend
What kg rods were you using? Great video?
All my vertical rods are 2-4 kg
Can I ask a question Dan, with the stingers what knot do you use? Or do you run assist hooks off the jig head?

I always wanted to fish there
It’s a great dam, it’s been mostly very tough since last winter with massive inflows and unstable water levels.
