where was bullis? OVERRATED. QUINCY WILSON WILL HAVE HIS BUTT KICK AT PENN RELAYS AT 2024. THE JAMAICANS WILL HAVE A RUNNERS RUNNING SUB 45. THEY WILL PREPARE FOR HIM.
My favorite Penn relays relay of all time. The guy who anchored for KC made it the best race for me.years to come I will still be watching this particular race
Jamaica to the world and thanks to the other teams from usa for the competition you gave to our sprinters congrats to you as well blessed love from Jamdown💚💛❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💚💛❤️🇯🇲🙏🇪🇹
congrats to SHP.... ex high level track old guy here and proud SHP parent of recent grad..... that was freaking phenomenal..... IMO, best SHP sports performance of all....... horrible weather but I thought all 4 kids ran their azzes off, and to see the fight in the last guy that is not normally part of that team... just made me proud..... love the Jaimaican fans and kids but think it is BS that they are allowed in a race like this..... and huge congrats to the Chatham kids in the 2x800... inspiring stuff....Hazard Zet Forward
Why do you think the Jamaican schools shouldn't be allowed to be there? US schools fly to Jamaica to compete in Jamaica's annual Boys and Girls Track and Field Championship.
@@yuhz1m1 Jamiaca is an independent country and a member of the British Commonwealth... kinda simple IMO (and I am a fan of the Jamaicans and their athletes)
just loved that 1st leg watching the SHP kid eat up the others coming off the turn... and seeing the 2nd and 3rd leg SHP kids win their legs and then the SHP anchor filling in fight to almost come back when obviously dead tired... shame about the weather but great race.... and SHP is clearly the top USA team
" The brave nay fall but bever yield." Well done KC and other Jamaican schools. The future of Jamaican sprinting is in good hands (or more appropriately, feet).😅
The only weakness Seaton Hall had was on their anchor leg, the #3 leg gave the kid on anchir the lead and he blew it, Kudos to the Jamaican team that got 1st place. good job fellows good job anchor man you did an excellent job, you ran a most intelligent leg, again much kudos to the entire relay team
The anchor leg was good, Kingston college’s anchor was just better don’t call the anchor a weakness if any of the other boys had been put in the same position the outcome would be the same
This is one of the worst Jamaican high school years for the guys and they still pull it out. these guys flat 400m times swaddling. So this is to tell u when the lights goes on these guys show up. congratulations guys. US High schools u got a chance this year and blew it. don't expect it next year
very unfair and inaccurate comment.... that kid, not part of the usual team, ran very very well and his fight at the end of that race was inspiring (as anyone having run a 400 before can attest)....
Another Jamaican Win, Congrats KC. keep wi name ina dem mouth 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 (dem neva seem fi know which Jamaica school a run or the names of the athletes yet they seem to know the all the Americans.🤔 )
These kids ran Fearless. I loved every second of it. These beautiful Runners gave it their best regardless of the bad weather. I take that on a dried day every runner runs .5 - 1.5 seconds faster. ITs too bad Bullies had lots of ground to make up...
LOL at the Bullis love.... why not talk about the top US HS team... and that is not Bullis but SHP (and I grew up in Monty Cty, MD and know Bullis very well... and I seriously question if any of those Bullis athletes pay any all or much to attend)
Impressive!! Close race. Well executed in the rain, ☔🌧️⛱️, 6 Jamaican sprinter teams out of 3 American sprinter teams ❤❤❤, but of course, I was proud of the American sprinter team whom kept up with the Jamaican sprinter teams of 1 and 3 places. Congrats to all finalists and congratulations to all medalists especially USA!!!
you get a Jamaican team that not as strong and now all of a sudden we think Seton hall is that good? people this year the Jamaican 400m boys standard drop. I hope it pick back up next year. these guys should run at least sub 46
The biggest winners are Seton Hall …… why??? Because the Penn Relays are the 2nd stop for the beginning of USA High Schools Outdoor season. Here in NJ it’s most schools 2nd stop. To where as Jamaican Schools ( big-up !! ) final stop before U20; U19 or U17. Jamaica or Caribbean countries outdoor season starts in January or near the end of January? Nj and most high schools Indoor Season ends late February. Then the American Schools have to make the transition from indoor to outdoor season with a month layoff and Outdoor starts here in the last week of March? That’s if that particular school didn’t qualify for Nationals? Not only that most High School male sprinters don’t run indoor: This is usually where you’ll see the Football players come out for outdoor season. Because most of them do 3 sports 🏈 🏀 and 🏃♂️My whole point is; For Seton hall to run a close second is utterly amazing!!! I would love to have scene a rematch in June particularly for all relays. So this way we can see who’s who!! I’m sure Seton hall and Bullis would be into peak form. This way it’ll be no excuses.
What happened to Bullis? I though they were the favourites homibg in to the finals! They had a runner who went under 50s! What happened? They peaked too early? They ran out of steam? Oh my! I wanted to see them repeat their earlier run!
Why does the interviewer just talk to one member of the relay team? After all, four of them ran it and four of them won it. Furthermore, the perspective of some of the other runners would add excitement and interest to the interview and the occasion and give fullfillment to both the other runners and their families and fans.
Didn’t expect him to win in the final. That 45 leg he did the day before was gonna catch up to him. This was definitely a great learning experience for him. Can only get better in the future.
unfair comment, even though I doubt the Bullis runners pay much to attend the school.... all those kids ran hard... the young man Wilson may well be "special"
To think KC ran thier B team and still did damage. JC were the favorites but unfortunately they're runner got injured during the preliminaries. Bullis runners need to learn prelims are not finals. They waste so much energy running fast times in the heats instead of just running to qualify.
US Navy Veteran here. Congratulations to Jamicia. Great track talent in that country.
