I love when Jim sets conman connie straight on things. Every match isn't meant to be Funk/Briscoe or Flair/Steamboat 5 star classics. Constantly reciting the Observer is beyond played out at this point.
I guess it's cause I grew up watching during the ruthless aggression era, but I always thought the Shane and Kane feud was really fun to watch. They told that story of the little guy who's gonna fight till the very end, to take out this big monster but ultimately falls and loses in the end really well, and I didn't get why people didn't like it. But, with hindsight, yeah I can see that it did a LOT more for Shane than it did for Kane.
They were definitely scraping the bottom of the barrell making Coach a character on the show in 2003. Also JR talking about the lack of ideas for Austin here, basically admitting Stephanie's Creative wasnt as strong as it had been under Russo. And hes absolutely right. Still, wrestling in 2003 was miIes ahead of where we are now.
dont get why ppl tune in to complain that he talks about his other interests, like dont watch if it bothers you, and you know hes gonna suck up to aew as always, dont agree but just ignore it
Jim ross i love you but you so wrong here Goldberg was WHITE HOT AT SUMMERSLAM! Goldberg should have won that match!!!!! When goldberg won the title at unfrogiven the following month no one cared!!! Stop sticking up to hhh lets be real!
The crowd was going crazy for Goldberg at that time and triple H being the political jack off as always made sure is daddy in law kept Goldberg in his place.
@@vampirascoffin870 Maybe he does but remember Jim's aew contract is about to expire and he wants to stay on good terms with modern WWE in case they come a knocking about bringing him back in, even for just a one night at WrestleMania type thing. You know Jr will never turn down a chance to be seen in a major wrestling program it's all he lives for at this point is seems , besides his obsession with football 😏
Goldberg also slipped and fell on his ass during his entrance that night. A perfect metaphor for his WWE stint, like all the previous WCW wrestlers that came thru Vince territory, he was booked to fail and did just that.
Male talent getting physical with female talent involved in an angle during the attitude era vs pretending we're not watching a biological male getting more physical with a female than anyone back then would even consider in their darkest dreams. Different era indeed
The nepotism was strong in the WWE at this point and it was around this time where I stopped wanting to see Shane McMahon wrestle. Him working like as if he was just one of the boys, a wrestler instead of what he was, the company executive who happened to be the son of the boss was garbage.
Shane had no place on the show in 2003, by then the novelty had actually. The way they wrote him off in 2002 was bizarre. Especially with how they had Steph running Smackdown, would have made sense storyline wise to have Shane run Raw. Amazing he would eventually return and face Undertaker of all people at a Wrestlemania. Hilarious actually.
Show starts at 13:20
Thanks pal, that football talk is even less interesting than Conman sucking up to AEW.

Shane Kane feud was one of the many highlights of RAW 2003
Horrible era to grow up with😂
"Al always had a good head for the business"😅
Lol
Tony Atlas laugh
Goddammit pal😂

Looking forward to JRs book. The last two were tremendous. Especially Under The Black Hat
"nobody laughed"..I laughed especially at government mule🤣
Loved this era of raw, was absolutely crazy

You have reminded me of Jim getting kicked in the balls. He sold it well. LOL
Anytime Jimbo got his ass whipped was a good time to be watching.
@@Rschr101 Yes, it was entertaining
This was the only PPV I've ever attended, decent show but nothing amazing. Shawn vs. Randy was easily the best match of the night.
That blasted noise..they gotta fix that
Excited for the next book. Hope good ole JR will be offering signed copies again.
Regarding Nigel McGuinness he had to retire due to contracting hepatitis so him making a comeback isn't in the cards.
Another great episode, nice shirt Connie 🥊🥊
I don't mean to sound negative. But I've always thought Conrad did well marrying who he did. They just don't look like they'd be together lol

more evidence of vince psychosis & racism, didnt want an asian woman, and didnt want orton, one of the biggest stars for something stupid

"Biological male" darn bro lemme get you some Bud Light
I can't remember did WWE promote that Goldberg had a part in the Looney Tunes movie which came out around this time?
No

Jim has been a lot more calm and friendly in the last month. It's good to see cause the red ass thing was getting tiresome.
Now if they could just deal with JR's constant noises that his Mic picks up.
They should pair him with Paul again😂
