1. i like to think they give you tissues so you can cry about losing and wipe your tears

Back when this game was released, it was still controversial to include same-sex relationships. They did include them in miitopia though, which is why miitopia is rated R in Russia lol.

Im gonna answer all of these questions in the order theyre asked.
- i think the style of the island is just graphical, and there is a way to get to the leisure island. Miis will often reference going to the train station to take the train/suggest a proposal at the train station, so maybe they take that to go there.
- the plane is for image sharing.

- since the homes are walking distance, maybe its like a sidewalk for them?

- choice by devs probably, either couldnt do it or already had enough items to hand out as gifts.
- its not like you see the miis swimming anyways (minus the fact theyre on a boat that could tip over), plus its an island mostly free of law, so they can kinda do whatever they want.
- i think this is just an oversight
- because youre less likely to see places in america, europe or australia using rooftop spaces on apartment buildings. theres usually always a separate building for that.
- for kids who wanna feel like grown-ups or get married, and for the grown-ups who want to feel like a kid again. theyre just ingame age shifters if you cant be bothered to change their ages manually (but it does change their height)
- for you to cry after miserably losing to catch for the 122nd time in a row
- the babies in tomodachi life have a grow cycle of 5 days (6th day is when they leave). probably for the sake of time, or the miis have a different biology than us and can just grow that fast.
- the question should be "how does the mother give birth in less than 3 days after asking for a baby?" and again its for the sake of time.
- the limit has ALWAYS been 100 miis. Except for Miitopia, for some reason.

- probably to make room for all the other gifting options, and the fact your mii can only have 8 gifts, so giving them too many videogames would be overkill? i cant really answer this other than saying its choice by devs
- because why would you spend money on these? The only way you can buy these is through the afternoon market at random chance, but the usual way to obtain them without pay is through the frying pan item or buying a mystery bag in the evening, both with random odds of receiving the items.
- technically a special item for your birthday. theres no other way to answer this.
- now heres a good point. if they didnt ask you to get these things for them, there would be no game. the whole point is to cater to your miis however you want, and sometimes they ask for something specific. on the other hand, you can walk into a miis apartment and see their stomach full, so sometimes they can eat on their own?
- the end of tomodachi life is to have a kid and raise it, so having a straight couple can achieve that fairly quickly. it COULDVE also been a topic of discussion back then, but not as prevalent as it is today. i pray that its only an oversight, but the demand for it has been so high, that Nintendo themselves apologized and promised to implement it next time. next time?
- the amusement park is just around the corner so i dont see why they would need to add a playground.
- if the mii is no longer on the island, then their friends have no way of developing their relationship with them anymore, so they probably just omit them from their memory.
hope some of these answers were ok. i have over 1,000 hours in tomodachi life (over the course of 2014, not my biggest flex), so im definitely familiar with a lot of these facts, except some of these questions ive never really asked myself...
