I sold my 1998 white Z28 convertible that I bought brand new (was the dealers wife’s demo) when I was 19, 10 years ago. It had 60k. Never drove it in the Chicago winters. I got 6,000 for it which was high. About a year later they started going up in value 🙄. I sold it to a 20 year old and was really happy because I had thought he was gonna get years of enjoyment like I did. A month later he blew the engine. His girlfriend slashed up the top. I seen it sitting with the top all slashed up during a huge rainstorm…. He died about 5 years ago and his brother is just coming of age and wants to restore his brothers car. I sure hope he does.
