It’s not the quality of the soft gel that is causing your lifting. You need to shape the cuticle area with your file to match your own cuticle area. Then you need to file the inside of the tip so that’s there’s no shine on the part that’s touching your nail. You also need to make sure the tips are going from side wall to sidewall exactly. If it’s just a tiny bit smaller it will pop off. Extra tip? Make little grooves when removing the shine in the inside of the tip to let the those tracks really adhere the glue onto the tip and nail. This system is amazing when u rlly know how to do it!!
Girl on my opinion them smile lines come come out the way they come out, they’re like eyebrows they are sisters not twins and aren’t created equally and everyone’s French style is different so just keep doing what you’re doing love. As long as it looks cohesive you good! I love a frenchie set you can never go wrong with it!🥰 colors are 🔥
An alternative to using an e-file to buff the inside of the nail tip is to use your nail primer and apply it to the inside of the nail tip, both ways allow for the nail tip to adhere better to your nail.
@@Ms.paneto070 you do it both times, so you prep your nails you dehydrate your nails then you put the primer on your natural nails and put the base coat, and then you can buff the inside of the nail tip or put the primer on the nail tip and then when the primer dries you put the base coat or builder gel on the nail tip and adhere to your nail
@@Ms.paneto070 here are two videos that show the method is was talking about: ua-cam.com/video/Zdf9Iz2rjPU/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/2XzUM2G01kI/v-deo.html
I just found your channel because I started getting into nails recently and I absolutely love your personality and soft spokenness, you’re so lovely and it makes it easy to learn from you!
Try the young nails Protein bond if your having any lifting. I’ve never had any lifting since I’ve used it. I’m not a professional either. Just DIY at home.
Hello I came across your channel about a week ago and your work is amazing. You really are inspiring me to try to do my own 💅. Keep up the good work 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ve been doing Apres nails for a year now, the lifting is probably cause (I didn’t see in this video) you didn’t clean up the cuticle area to flush in with your natural nail. You would have to use a cuticle bit to clean, flush and normally buff the surface area for a clean polish lay. I love using the Apres, but definitely check out insatiable nails on how she flushes/clean the cuticle. It will definitely help with the lifting. I used to have lifting till I started to clean the cuticle! She also sells bits for that as well!
The " curve" you mention is called Apex. Those tips are so nice shaped. I love them. The lifting is because 1) you did not buff enough like you said and you floated the cuticle eith the base gel, so it might be that AND the 1st layer of base coat has to be really thin. You made it way too thick. My tip would be: apply it very thin. Work / rub it into the natural nail. Do not remove the sticky and then you can do a thicker layer. Love your set sweety----,--♡
hello THESE ARE STUNNING! Can you help me ? Every time I do Gelly full nails on a client the whole tip part pops off and leaves the gel underneath . Am I missing something ? I have no idea why the tips are not sticking to the gel
The lifting your experiencing because you didn’t use a base coat on your nail before using the builder gel. That tends to happen with builder gel that’s why using a base coat gel is a must or it will start peeling off. And yes buffing the nail is also must before starting your nail application
another reason why your nails may be lifting is because your soaking your hands in water. after a while all that trapped moisture/water starts to come out and cause lifting. Great Set Jasmyn 🤩
I went on and bought a drill lol 😆 😅 tried doing my bday nails and I was tired with the hand file haha. Only finished one hand 🙋🏾♀️ lol. Thank you for the drill suggestion.
I love how it came out! I’m trying to do my own nails too but idk if I can do my right hand without messing up lol. But when you use the dehydrator and primer do you dry it with the uv light first?
The lifting may have been caused by the first layer or the fact that you still had cuticle on one of your nails. It's supposed to be thin. Chaun Legends tips are more of a sculpted version. I do love the coffin shape. Great job on the French💜
@@JasmynDestine I'm sure you'll get it figured out. I love Aprés. I used to get lifting. But then.... I put down a thin layer of Luminary ( gel similar to GelX ) before the GelX. My my nails are hold on and it's been 6 weeks. Still trying to find the time to do a fill.
Young nails protein bond will help with the lifting also file the inside with another nail bit like a sanding band because that one isn’t doing really good
Pro tip: no efile? Use Acetone on a small brush and buff into underside of nail until tacky to prep the gel x before applying. Only do one at a time don't prep all 10 at once
how did you keep dust from collecting from under the nail since you put the extend gel on the whole bottom part of the nail? did you use the top coat on the bottom side as well?
You are soaking your hands in water before using a gel product. That’ll cause lifting for sure. You don’t wanna do any extensive time in water before applying gel to your nails because the water will repel the gel.

That's what I do and honestly, it works best for me. Especially when I'm keeping the nails on for 4-6 weeks.
So inside the nail place gel primer and base coat instead of the natural nail or do 2x in nail tips and natural nails?

I had lifting on more than one nail with the cuticles cleaned so I don’t think it’s that! But thank you 💖

Wow what a tip!
you did that girl! lol, adding gel x to my cart NOW😭
I have them on n I love them sooo much!
So pretty!
how did you keep dust from collecting from under the nail since you put the extend gel on the whole bottom part of the nail? did you use the top coat on the bottom side as well?
What about bending? Are the nails strong like acrylic so they don’t bend
They are really strong! They feel and look just like acrylic, they’re just made out of gel!
@@JasmynDestine okay! I’m gonna try em! 💛
Im a beginner at doing gel x nails and I just wanted to know what exactly do I need to buy to start doing Frenchies
Everything I used, aside from the multiple nail colors. But everything serves a purpose and is important to use.
Do you like the apres system better with poly gel or the extend gel?
I use both but the poly gel is definitely easier!
This is so pretty 😍
Thank you so much!! 🥰
push through baby chaun✨
Oooo a compliment!! 🥰
Try the natural apres instead of sculpted. The natural apres is for flatter nail beds. I love the natural over the sculpted.
Definitely will be trying the natural Apres with my next purchase!
can i use any colored extend polish from any brand
I sometimes use poly gel instead so sure!
I love Beetles gel polish
I need more!! 🙌🏽
Love this. But can you use regular gel polish or does it have to be soft get or are they the same? Lol
You can’t use regular gel polish
Nails! YAY!🥰❤️
Yaaayyyy!!
Is it better than polygel ?
so pretty
You did that!!!
thank youuuuuu 🥰
New sub and i just bought everything 🥴😩
Periooodddd
You should use a matte top coat that would be really pretty but it’s pretty even without the matte top coat
Yo…you did the damn thang…it’s the smile lines for me sis
🔥 Love them
Things you did? 🗣 THAT!!! Let me go order those gel polishes right neeooowww
Okay purrrrrrrrr 💅🏽
I want to see what under the nails look like when you extend it to the full nail bed.
I think the lifting is because soaking nails absorbs water in the nail.
Oooooohh very good point! I didn’t think of that!
You’re gorgeous btw thank you for the video x
Thank you!! No problem!
I attach fake nails with Polygel ! Much better than soft gel.
Wow girl 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Can you do a video of you removing your nails. I guess I’m doing something wrong because my nails be looking rough
I still struggle with my deep frenchies one side be like ✨🥵 n the other on sum 🥴😦
Same! It’s a tricky design to get perfect on each nail!
Nice!!!!!!
You are soaking your hands in water before using a gel product. That’ll cause lifting for sure. You don’t wanna do any extensive time in water before applying gel to your nails because the water will repel the gel.
Ver very pretty
