Did you know there are college scholarships for students who are support staff for athletic teams? You don't have to be the star quarterback or point guard. There is money and scholarships for manager, videographers, statisticians, student assistant coaches, and social media assistants. School after school from NCAA to NAIA to NJCAA are relying on students, right now, just like you to deliver their athletic programs and serve in key leadership roles…. And… They scholarship them to do it.
I did 4 out of 5 of these tips and got a scholarship last year, awesome tech college, put my foot into my essay, applied for lots of little scholarships, and had awesome recommendations from past teachers. And it works!
Those are really great tips. I did my associate from community college too but it was a decade ago but appreciate your scholarship tips, i am going to share this with my brother who is about to go to university & best wishes for your success.
THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING! Thank you soooo much for these really AWESOME tips ! I'm a high school student from Tunisia and I will follow your tips to get a full scholarship for university in 2021. I'm a new subscriber and I really encourage you to do more videos about this subject .Waiting for next videos .Keep going .
THANK YOU so much!! I completely believe in you! Good luck! You are so right. I really do need to make more videos on this subject. What would you like to see?
Wow! This helped SO much!!! I've been told by my school to go to a 4 year but I knew from the people I talked too and my parents that that's not the greatest idea. So my plan is I'm going to a community college. Not just for it to be cheaper, start out with a less stressful college, and to do different fun things there but also a small part of me thought that maybe they'd offer scholarships but wow! You secured that thought! It defiantly makes me feel happier about my decision to go with community college. Also, I liked your personal experiences with writing essay's for different scholarships because you talked about being an elf and so was I! You helped a lot and I truly appreciate it. I'm trying to research if it's possibly to live, go to school, and participate in volunteering/extracurricular activities without having loans or paying.
Hi Katie I'm so happy my video helped you. I hate that schools are pushing students to only consider four year colleges. Going to community college is literally the best decision I ever made. I also didn't feel forced to pick a major. It's a great way to get your prerequisites out of the way. I also encourage taking summer/winter session classes if you can. And what I liked about going to community college is that there are so many people from different backgrounds in your classes. Not just 18-21 year-olds. This taught me a lot. You also get to know your instructors more because the classes are small! Let me know if you need any help at all. I post private scholarships that you can apply for on my Pinterest page www.pinterest.com/girlwithdrive/scholarships/
I love love love your intro! This is an amazing video, there should be more videos out there like this than can inform high school graduates on their options and resources other than loans. I actually I had paid better attention to what was needed and took it seriously.
Never taught of resuming school back since I lost my parents in a car accident and staying with my aunt was so bad because she couldn’t afford my school fee till I was recommended to Hacker Douglas.
Great unique tips. My favorite was go to community college. But the most relevant tip was to research and tailor scholarship essays to the scholarships....also having templates was really good advice too. All I all, very good video.
Amazing video. I graduated from college in 2013 with five scholarships and I basically got the chance to attend school for free. I wish more young people would understand the importance of scholarships. Thanks for sharing these tips.
Hi Leslie! In my sophomore year at community college, I applied for an academic transfer scholarship that covered my tuition to the university that I transferred to. Most community colleges have transfer agreements with surrounding 4-year colleges and several offer scholarships to eligible students.
I just discovered your channel today. You definitely are starting out strong keep it up! Is there anyway you can help me on a personal level with this I am a senior in high school. Thanks koz BTW Go Maryland
I feel awful. I’m a graduate of highschool. And want to get a scholarship to continue my education in japan. No one believes in me. I don’t know what to do.
Hi Ritza you have to download it here www.subscribepage.com/girlwithdrive-ultimatescholarshipchecklist. On my Pinterest you'll see a board that says scholarships. On that board you'll see a bunch of different scholarships like November Scholarships, February Scholarships, etc.
Girl with Drive thanks so much and one more question, how is it like for housing at pgcc? And also will you have the associate degree even if your are continuing at a four year college? Sorry for the too much questions lol
Definitely. Going to a smaller local college has a lot of opportunities and definitely apply for scholarships that are smaller. They really add up and a lot of students don't apply for them.
My marks are 51% IN UG AND in Masters 61% will i get Doctoral Scholarship and how to try for it and get it with low GPA at undergraduation. The GPA is my main concern. Can u guide me How to look for with low GPA
Usually scholarships will make you write some sort of essay, personal statement or something along those lines. That is the time for you to explain why is your GPA low, what caused it, challenges you faced, and how did you overcame those challenges. It is kind of a way to show that I have low GPA but it could have been lower or it could have been that I never received the degree; however, I didn't give up and received the degree. Pretty much you talk about your struggle! Hopefully that helps!
Thanks for this angle of Approach Mam.I am from India & wanna try for countries like Netherlands Poland for Ph.d. Do have any Guidance on the Specific Country.
@AK Ton I live and work from United States, but I believe process will most likely be same. Any scholarship or university you apply to will look for someone who have a balance approach to what individual want to do with the research or whatever they are doing, cause and what may the result be. How will the result help the individual and the community immediate or broad. In any case before submitting any proposals or any other kind of written or prototypes they may require, make sure your it is well organized and reviewed by professional advisor or professor. Also if you can, find someone who have done similar PhD program that you are looking forward to do so they can mentor or advise you regular bases. Hopefully that helps! 😊 Check our UA-cam Channel 😊✌🏼
So Mam i want to do Ph.d in Thelogical Studies do u know anything in USA where Ph.d is paid position or completely free.Kindly share urmail id to guide me further
AK Ton personally I don’t know any programs that offer that kind of a position, but I will look around see if I can find anything. But feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns: contact@tapop.org
Thank you for the great tips! Scholarships are one of the best ways to save tons as a college student! Keep it up! -Financial Freedom For Millennials Channel Subscriber Goal 111/250

Hi Leslie! In my sophomore year at community college, I applied for an academic transfer scholarship that covered my tuition to the university that I transferred to. Most community colleges have transfer agreements with surrounding 4-year colleges and several offer scholarships to eligible students.
Hi! What are some examples of the general contests that you entered? Such as the Kindle you won for your mom and such. Thanks for the awesome video!!
So it's more on leadership skills then straight A's
I would say leadership skills and really challenging yourself. Taking honors classes, AP/IB classes, etc.
