Brilliant review, you have made me love the new Defender even more now. Being from Scotland, I truly appreciated the wool skirt with large pin, the cable knit jumper and the tweed cap, not to mention the various cups of tea that were always at hand. This has to down in KBB's Hall of Fame.
Lady has serious style. I bet she lives in NYC but works in Jersey. The only people in Jersey with that great style are actual NY'ers who moved there to save on housing costs. Yeah, especially love the skirt/pin. Takes the outfit up another level.
Typical butthurt LR fanboy response: Muh Defender has so far been flawless I've owned 10 Land Rovers in the past and all of them has been dead reliable Do you even own a LR? Muh Range Rover has been more reliable than a Toyota Sure it has buddy.
The joke is on you mate, as the new defender is more reliable than any BMW, Audi or Mercedes SUV. In fact the Defender was awarded No1 most reliable SUV.
@@paulelledge8977 The only time I ever tow a Toyota is generally because of a coolant leak, broken serpentine belt, or flat tire. I tow land rovers all the time, and have towed multiple Land Rovers since I made this comment. Their electronics are terrible. I’m not saying Toyota motors don’t give out sometimes, but their failure rate is not even remotely close to that of Land Rover.
By the way, the departure angle is better than the Ford Raptor. So it's not ideal, but it's not terrible either. Defender 110: 37.7, Ford Raptor f-150 2021 24.9, Defender 130 28.8 as they say. So you can go out and do moderate 4x4 no problem. If you are going to places the car will drive you with no problem. If someone wants to do 4x4 for the shake of it, this will not cut it. For anything technical, I will suggest you buy a used car, that you can break and prepare it.
You know, if you focus on knowing the tech details, and make a point to be succinct in your presentation, it would be nice. The drink sipping after silly comments wears quickly
At 5:39 you state the extra length is felt in bends. Is this because of the weight as you refer to heft? The actual driving dynamics are the same as the 110 due to the wheelbase being identical. So cornering control should also be identical. With a longer tail the driving experience shouldn’t really change until you need to park, then of course the extra length will be apparent.
I guess Lyn dressing lassie, but Micah not doing laddie today. Of course the Land Rover Defender looks great but the maintenance and repairs are going to cost you plenty...
Yeah....that's a king's ransom for a vehicle that misses the mark in quite a few areas. There are far better options if you have that kind or money to spend 🤨
The incredible urge to smack that coffee mug out of your hands detracts from the key messages you're trying to convey in this review. Maybe having a shot of it ONCE in the beginning and ONCE at the end would suffice. But with each take? Let me go find a better review without the pretensions...
@@oscardelarosa8217I disagree, I like them too but they can be over the top hyper-goof, especially with Micah's shouting. Entertaining, yes, but when that gets tiresome (or before), Lynn's different and a breath of fresh air, pleasingly normal and great--and fun.
If it weren’t for the hit/miss reliability, I’d purchase a 110 in a heartbeat. Such a nice looking SUV
Lynn and Micah are the best. Keep up the great reviews guys, cheers!
Thanks for watching! We appreciate you.

Crazy you don't get backup standard on the lower models.
In the United States, you do. Since 2018 every new car is required to have one.
Great review Lyn!😸
I love the mugaton!
Great Job TATA motors (parent company of JLR)…Love from INDIA 🇮🇳
Tata might own JLR but Land Rovers are build and engineered mostly by British people (white) and not brown Indians.

it’s funny how defensive you are at the guy’s innocent comment about the parent company. insecure much?
The Defender 130 is now available with even more interior room for you and your family to wait for the tow truck.

For off-roading the Lexus LX 600 with a third row
Nice Wellies. Couldn't figure out the watch but it looks really elegant. The car looks ok too, haha. I don't mind the proportions.
Love Lynn Reviews!!
That defender badge at 3:06 looks mighty crooked. Very British

Zero.zero times. :)

Funny all the nasayers…until you own one, your comments about quality are speculative and without merit, never had issues with any of mine.
