I have this one as well... from Banggood - 300 EUR. I had zero problems with autofocus - it works as expected. I use Lightburn with the TS2 profile file which is on the card. I didn't really tested flames detector, as it is always supervised - I would never leave this unattended. In the package you should have a cap for the diode. And of course you should keep this detector out of direct sun and flickering light. If you use not flickering free led lighting, I think you would get alarms regularly. And, from what I tested, this is great laser! A lot of fun with this one. There is a place to improve a few things, but it is a good product, as you mentioned. THANKS FOR THE REVIEW! 😅

I wonder if the flame detector would be more useful if air extraction was used?
Edit:- I just read in the comments that it can be calibrated, it will be nice to see how this machine works once you get to know it and get it dialled in.

I tried with air assist. Now I know, it can be adjusted too.

The problems you have with the autofocus must be a defect in the machine.
I am also testing this laser for a review, and mine does not move down after an engraving or cut.
The flame detector problem is also in the machine I am testing, but I learned a solution from Vivi, and that is to open the flame detector cover and dail in the correct sensitivity.
After this is done, it works like a charm.

Are you using laserGRBL or lightburn? Maybe some part of end gcode moves it down.

      @@MyTechFun Hi Igor,
I work in Lightburn, but also in LaserGRBL I have no problems with the Z axis.

Please tell me if it is possible to connect a computer or laptop via wi-fi to this engraver, or only through a smartphone? I tried to connect using the IP address (through which I log in from the smartphone application) from the computer, but nothing happened (the computer is connected via a LAN cable to a Wi-Fi router) or does the computer only connect via usb?

Not sure from the software side, but you can always unplug the Z stepper and do it manually

With today's technology, and much cleaner methods of manufacturing, these machines should all be a lot cleaner in the cable management and should come standard that way. The machine may be a good machine but those cable connectors all over the place are very distracting, as is that box side mounted at the front. X tool machine looks a lot cleaner and it approximates what I feel desktop laser cutters with larger footprint should look like, although I would add a few more safety features to it. A full cover or box to contain the laser light and extract safely the smoke outside one's work area.
For the sake of machine architecture reference, If we are to compare some of the early 3D printers under $400, the popular Creality 10 and Anycubic I3 Mega are two good examples of one machine that is open frame and sort of cheese while the latter one much more clean and robust. The I3 Mega in this case is solid steel frame and fully enclosed electronics, no guide rails with roller bearing that need to be adjusted, and a self contained power and control electronics under the machine, with an clean layout touch sensitive screen at the front on an angle for ease of viewing and side mounted provisions for mem card file loading for direct printing without the use of PC. This is the way I would design a laser cutter, of course a bit more compact in the Z axis as lasers do not need to have to much height as 3D printers do.
Still, all mechanics and cabling would be hidden and super clean, with all the controls on a centered front panel touch screen angled up a bit, no proprietary software nor WIFY. I am allergic to mechanical type products that rely on WIFI, I much rather have something I can control in the traditional manner and without the need for customized apps to make them work. I am not fond of apps and cloud based systems, because the user is typically not in full control, reason I am heavily biased towards the more traditional direct control methods when it comes to machinery.
I have yet to see such a machine, with clean solid architecture, that can not only engrave but also do cutting of 1/4" wood in one pass cleanly. Mr Carve is the closest to a clean laser similar in architecture, I think , to the Anycubic I3 architecture, mentality, if you will, but it is not a cutter, just an engraver.
I am still searching for that ideal Laser cutter, as I described and maybe I will never find it, as typically happens with all the things I want, they do not exist, in the form I want them to, and many times I have to make them myself.

Do you know that you are promoting a product from a company with devious practice. TS2 model is SOLD OUT but you can still go to their website and buy it without notification of the situation or notifying you that your shipping time will be significant affected, but your credit card will be immediately charge for it.
