Memorial Day 2017 Burleson, Tx

Our town of Burleson, Texas has an amazing Rock Group called "Burleson Rocks - Texas Official" and on of our members brought forth a Group Challenge for Memorial Day.

Group Challenge - Memorial Day is Monday May 29th so let's show our support to our veterans. Let's place a patriotic rock on each name at the Veterans Memorial in Burleson. Place your rocks there by Saturday before dark with a note to the person/family shown on the brick. All rocks should remain until Wednesday to allow the veteran or their family to pick up the rock.
Note: Not all of these veterans who have a brick are deceased, some are still here with us. This is usually a day of mourning for their brothers and sisters in arms that did pay the ultimate sacrifice. Please take a moment and look up the persons name at the kiosk and see their story.
I will go down and take pictures of all the rocks on Monday and post them to FB.
Memorial Day is a day to honor the fallen, those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice on behalf on this nation. This weekend, we hope you enjoy the blessings of liberty. But even more, we hope you stand with us to show love, appreciation and support for those who made it possible.

Of course everyone was on board to show support and respect for the Fallen and Living. They did after all sacrifice everything for our Country.
Most cities have a "YOUR CITY Rocks" group. If not then go make one so everyone can join in on the fun!
