The MKZ has been a solid luxury sedan offering from Lincoln over the past 14 years. But 2020 is the last model year we will see a new MKZ on our Lincoln lot. There is much to say and learn about the MKZ and it is still a great luxury car option in 2020. Let’s learn more about the MKZ!

Its such a shame they stopped making this work of art. Own a 2018 awd 3.0T. Totally wouldve bought a new one when this one was done. Hope they bring it back someday. Probably the most overlooked and underated car on the road.
Down the line sedans may make a comeback. 🤞
Just purchased a 2020 Lincoln MKZ with 25k miles for $24K. It's being delivered in a few days. Can't wait to give it a test drive.
Carvana or somewhere else? I’ve noticed they’ve finally started having competitive prices. They had a huge 1st quarter this year compared to where they have been
Just purchased one with 33K miles for $22K. Beautiful car!
I love my 2017 MKZ AWD and I'm still driving it. I knew if I wanted a luxury car, I'd have to get it before I retired. When Lincoln finally updated the grill (goodbye fairy wings), I fell in love! I named it my "Burgundy Beauty" and leased it for 3 years. I couldn't bring myself to part with it when the lease ended, so I purchased it for a very fair price. I retired the same year I leased it and didn't put many miles on it, plus I did a lot of travelling while it sat in my garage. It has only 30K miles as of now. I'm older, it's older, and I now call it "Old Lady Lincoln". I still love it and hope they bring it back someday.
I have been a Towncar lover since I was a child and thought I was "settling" for the MKZ. It didn't take me 15 minutes to fall in love. I love this video. It was beautiful. Almost brought a tear to my eye. Lol
You so cute
I have a 2012 MKZ with 137,746 miles on it . I'm considering a 2020 MKZ reserve with the 2.0 TT . If l purchase one the 2012 will go to my sister. Ilove the car but looking for a newer one
Get the loaded 2020 hybrid.
RIP. I don't have a MKZ, but have a Fusion. I'm glad I got my fusion before they stopped making them
Love my 2011 AWD version. No issues with it. Tires, oil changes, and brakes, all due to normal wear and tear, have been the only maintenance costs. Great in the snow and ice, decent power, good handling, soft, quiet, toasty heated seats...it's been a gem. If whatever they replace it with is half as good, it will be a great car.
Rip MKZ models. Been driving my 2014 for 3-4 years. Called it Abraham. Sold it and got a 2025 Kia k5 the other day. Still reminiscing about Abe. He was my first. 😞
Traded in my 2017 MKZ Select 3.0 TT AWD for a new 2020 MKZ Reserve with 3.0 TT AWD and the Luxury package and Elements package and some other goodies, aside from tire vibration the car is awesome. Hoping the dealer can do something about the tires.
YEs the vibration. I actually had a tech drive my car because i was convinced something was broken. An engineer friend of mine said its because of the low profile tires.
Do you think the discontinuation will effect maintenance costs?
@@sebastienc.2257 - No, the components used are used in other models so we should be fine for some time.
I love my MKZ!
My 2020 is coming mid june!!! I cant waot for the rebates! 😍
It is a shame they will no longer be producing these cars next year.
All the so Called Big Three are just going to drive sedan buyers over to Honda, and Toyota when they quit making these
@@billdauterive246 older fusions 2012-2006 are very reliable
Thanks for the review. I got this 2020 MKz Hybrid. Will drive at least for more than 10 years.
Good choice!
WE are starting look for one today 2020 reserve
AMAZING CAR !!!!!!! VERY BAD DECISION !!!!
I have a 07 awd love it
The 2020 MKZ is so beautiful and has exceeded my expectations. I was told this car is not being made any longer due to the amount of sales. I see this vehicle everywhere I go. I love this Lincoln product...but I am not interested in ANY SUV or EV. I am tired of these companies jamming this crap down our throat. Unfortunate, when I decide to trade my MKZ, I will not consider a Lincoln again.
So sorry you feel that way about Lincoln's new models. The truth is the former CEO decided to cut costs and eliminate the slowest selling vehicles, pre-pandemic from the line up of Ford and Lincoln products. The MKZ is based on the same chassis as the Ford Fusion. The Fusion got the axe and the MKZ & Continental followed suit. The chassis that these cars were based on were also due for an update. But rather than investing in new architecture they decided to not produce a next generation of mid-size Ford or Lincoln sedans. Now this is not to say that in the future that we will not see Lincoln return to a sedan form. With a shift to all electric the most popular form of those are a happy medium between a traditional sedan and SUV, like the Mustang Mach E and Tesla Model Y. We could potentially see a new Lincoln model in the line up that is fully electric that more resembles a sedan than SUV in the coming years.
Bought our loaded 202 last winter, My wife call it the "Orca" for its black out look. with t the panorama roof.
Tell your wife Orca name is reserved for the navigators only
She loves her MKZ, LOL
@@mrjuvy49 lol thats good but its not an Orca lol
Traded my 2013 Focus for a certified 2019 MKZ with only 19,500 miles. I owned a 1999 Town Car & loved it. My MKZ has more features & better mileage. I love the ride in Sport Mode. Too bad Ford/Lincoln will no longer produce cars.
I love my beautiful MKZ
My 2017 MKZ 3.0 T AWD is a awesome car. Luxury and smooth big power.
I have the Lincoln's cousin the Mercury Milan 2010 3.0L v6 very reliable motor
@@theshield1613 lol. no you dont. the mkz 3.0 is a completely different power train.
You are compairing a 245 hp to 400hp power train.
@@davidkruse4030 duratec 3.0L is very reliable, it's better than the new Ford engines lol
@@davidkruse4030 duratec motor hp 175-507hp mine does 345hp with flex fuel, my duratec motor could use ethanol E-85 and gasoline
400 HP... Wow 👏
getting rid of sedans is so stupid
I agree
Smh
What people need to understand is that, People don't listen to what the manufacturers want, the manufacturers listen to what the people want. And now the people want pick up Trucks. The Ford F 150 us now the hottest selling vehicle in America. So, ford didn't get rid of family sedans, people got rid of family sedans.
Funny how all the people that didn't want a minivan are all driving SUVs and they all look the same now
@@styldsteel1 well why the hell the manufactures don't listen to what this person wants and this person likes sedans, they are sleek with their different designs and styles. Everybody is not into big, ugly ass trucks with the same boring designs.
Beautiful car
Have a black label 2017 and wouldn't trade it for the world - the 3.0t is awesome
Nice video. I have a 2008. Might be in the market for a new vehicle.
Im fortunate to Own a 2018 Hybrid. Beautiful, Comfortable and Great on Gas! I was hoping to upgrade to a New one but..... Guess Ill have to look at Cadillac. I am not a fan of SUVs..... And thats all Lincoln makes these days.
The MKC is an SUV but it drives like a sedan. Give one a test drive before swearing off SUVs. It just might change your mind.
Ill take the 400 hp v6 . I don't want a slow hybrid car. My Turbo Verloster is 200 hp . Quick and kool.
Final mkz and town car go come again 🙏❤️
I heard Lincoln’s you can’t turnoff the start / stop engine feature. Is that true?
There is no start stop feature on these cars.
F in the chat for the MKZ
Is it still worth buying in 2023? I might trade in a 2015 explorer sport for a 2020 mkZ reserve with the 3.0
Its a wonderful vehicle. I would highly recommend it. The jump from a 2015 Explorer to a Lincoln MKZ will be a big upgrade in luxury and ride quality!
2020 4 cyl 26mpg
2004 V8 24mpg...
2.0L EcoBoost gets 20 city/31 hwy/24 combined mpg FWD & 20 city/29 hwy/23 combined mpg AWD in the MKZ.
2018 MKZh 41mpg .
The screen looks smaller than the screen on my 2017 Fusion Platinum. Is it?
Both are 8" screens. It just looks longer and narrower because of how the dashes differ.
I luv my 2020
Them mkzs fast asf my buddy has a red 08 with the 6 liter and that thing scoots
music name?
black wheelsw should be a crime/ go for the biggest polished wheels and the rest of the car lights up.
The car featured has the Monochromatic package which includes the black wheels. Some folks like the dark wheels look. However thats the beauty of choice and we have MKZ's with all wheel options availible!
i love my car
what’s the music in the back?
You mean MuZaK ?
I hate how American car makers have stopped making sedans I hate foreign cars I think they are ugly. I get they are reliable but I'm not getting a car to last 30 years I want it for the ride and the feel of the car not the longevity
Say it ain't so!!!!!! What's really going on?
The platform shared between the Fusion and MKZ/Continental are no longer being produced. The lack of sales on the platform plus needing to be updated lead to the cancelation of the production line. The space will now be used for future models.
The market is going towards trucks. The F 150 is now the hottest selling vehicle in the US. People no longer want family sedans.
I don't like the ... LONG DASHBOARD!! And I can't see the FRONT of the car. I don't like like the console either. Sorry
$60,000.00 with no Head Up Display.
Pitiful considering a new Toyota Camry's has HUD . 👎
Keep Americans working and buy domestic
WHY THE ANNOYING, BACKGROUND MUSIC ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!
Looks so cheape inside !!!
I own both a 15 and a 17. Both interiors have rich supple soft leather that feels like butter. You have no clue what so ever as to what you just clicked and clacked about in your electronic device.
Bro, idk what it is but you have to actually sit in one to understand. The interior is amazing
Quite the opposite!
