I laughed so much at your reaction , I really loved it. This is definitely the best reaction on Moroccan music, Now let me answer some of ur questions and clarify some points so u understand better Moroccan culture, 1-The first song is actually using an old traditional song in Amazigh (aborigen Moroccan's language and one of the official languages in Morocco along with arabic ), the singer adds a part in Moroccan arabic dialect as well as a part in english. The MV was filmed in the region where most Amazigh Moroccan live and the outfit is the traditional outfit of that region ( Morocco got many traditional outfit depending on the region, they share some parts but the accessories vary ) 2-The second one is totally in moroccan dialect and that style of music as well as the dance is very famous in the eastern part of Morocco (called reggada). 3-The third one is as u can see the modern style, it's also in Moroccan dialect , the one we talk everyday , with some phrases in spanish since the singer is from the north of Morocco and it's pretty common for ppl there to know spanish. The MV was filmed in Tangier , one of the biggest cities in the north and the closest african place to Europe (only 14km between it and spain). 4-The fourth one is entirely in Moroccan and it's a typical Moroccan style particular to the center and west of Morocco. The MV was filmed in the countryside. Most of those videos were filmed in Moroccan desert or mountain or countryside (plaines) , only the Decapotable was filmed in the city. Decapotable is a word we use it in Moroccan to describe a convertible car , it's a french word , but we actually use many french and spanish words in a common way , and in France and Spain they use arab/Moroccan words. Moroccan got very special instruments.
Thanks for this lovely video. Desert is not a stereotype, it's one of the most famous things about Morocco, but shisha is not originally Moroccan, it's from the middle east. The first song has a lot of the Amazigh culture, especially the dances and outfits, which is a huge part of the Moroccan diversed culture, and btw parts of the movie Indiana Jones were filmed in Morocco like many other famous movies. For the second song it's from the eastern part of Morocco (I personally don't like one of the 2 singers "Serhani") but the clothes and dances are from the eastern part. the 3rd song was filmed in the modern side of Tangier which is a city in the very north of Morocco, and tbh, I think it was a bad choice cause it's a modern song that looks like any other western song with Moroccan lyrics, you could've chosen a song with Moroccan rythms. The last song is Moroccan and shows the rural part of Morocco mostly the south I think, I've never seen it before but it sounds cool, anyway, thanks again for the video
Great explanation ! Thank you so much my friend ! By the way i love the 4th song so much that i'm trying to be able to sing it. writing all the lyrics down in japanese how it sounds haha ! AMAZING MUSIC ! Can't wait to do the part 2 !
Moroccan language is very different from arabic, most other arabs cant understand it even if more than 80% of the words used are arabic or of arabic origines, and thats because, in moroccan language, the structure of the phrases are very different from arabic, and the pronunciation of words is different. to sum things up, structure of the phrases are Amazigh (or berber )+80% arabic words+ the rest of the words used are mostly Amazigh words with a litle bit of french and spanish, and amazigh in itself is a language that has greec/roman words. so yeah, I let you be the judge if Moroccan is arabic or its own language, because no one agrees on this subject.
Moroccan is an arabic DIALECT not a language. Maybe its difficult but its still arabic. I am Moroccain and I was born in Germany, we don't mix french or spanish! In Morocco u will find arabs and also Amazigh, but we as arabs speak only arabic! :)
hhhh you can say that you are arab but me naaaah I'm not I'm Berber and proud, and Moroccan dialect is considered as a Berber dialect cuz 80% of dialect morocca's words are originally from Tamazight like ( bzaf, awdi, .......( I'm not free to write all words here but trust me there is a lot of words from Tamazight language 😊♓))
A big heart from Morocco 🇲🇦 to you dear Tim and all Japanese people 🇯🇵 as well, it a pleasure to welcome you to our humble country, there’s a lot to discover about the ancient Moroccan culture by traveling there and meeting the locals people, who are known for their generosity and good hospitality. Regarding the meaning of the words for the last song, it expresses a poor person who fights for his daily sustenance who has lost his love and is demanding why he is punishing him.
Salaam i'm from morocco. Yeh the landscape is in morocco indeed, the way people are dressing is the traditional dress of amzigh moroccan people. The last song is about laghram wich mean love so he is singing a love song. I like your reaction a lot you seem very friendly 😊 welcome to morocco

... this is my own translation for the last song "WA YA LGHRAM" /MAHDI MOZAYINE/ i made it for you guys cause i liked your cute reactions hh i am Nawar from morocco .... For God’s sake, tell him i want to see him again Tell him that it is pretty hard on me I made the nights thinking about him ; missing him burnt my heart I am locked to him ..which made my heart burning even more …. I fear he would have forgotten me While I am so far away he is doing well And I am up late singing and saying: Ohh Love (the feeling not the person) what m addicted to ?!! Look at his black eyes have done to me You have tired me out.. you have tired me out I don’t know my arse from my elbow (idiom means I do know nothing anymore) …. If the lover miss his beloved; what trick can he use ? (means he can’t help it) I am persevering (trying hard to bear this feeling) Only God knows what I am going through And who is defeated by love, where can he find the cure YOU, the governor of my heart.. (please)Consider my state a little bit! … Ohh . you who have forgotten me, how long (it will take to remember me) Even if your heart were a rock (idiom means tough and harsh) Swear on God and tell me where you are It’s too long you since you have been gone
The dance is called “reggeda” you should also react to “Berber” music it’s a different culture and language that they speak in the north side of marocco we got some Fire to 🔥😎
Reggada is Northern Moroccan war music (rif tribe) and the song of lamjarred is inspired by an Amazigh song. Morocco has more than just one amazigh speaking region
yos Sarang i said you should react to Berber am amazigh music to I didn’t say there’s just one Berber speaking cause I know there are way more different kinda Berber lol, read good before you react and comming at with wrong info !!!
Awesome reaction! I'd say that this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's lots of interesting stuff to discover about Morocco and Moroccans, including music of course. Try these songs: Laychafi by Betweenatna (Morocco's System of a Down haha) Black Mossiba by Hoba Hoba Spirit (they also have other great hits) Maalem معلم by Saad Lamjarrad ... I just want to tell you that I'm a huge fan of anime. I currently am watching Cowboy Bebop 🤠😃 Cheers!
Wonderful video Hahaha, you laughed a lot ... Hmmm but a little upset because you did not make a video of traditional Algerian songs ... I hope you give him a reaction ... and you bring your Japanese friend who always appears with you with black hair. She is very beautiful
Bonjour et bienvenue au Maroc, le pays de la bienveillance et de la tolérance. La musique, la culture et le sport créent l'amour, le respect, l'amitié, la fraternité... entre les peuples du monde. Merci pour le partage.
This is a late 20's early 30' music style, in Morocco what's actually popping within the younger generation is moroccan rap, you should give it a shot you'll definitely appriciate it.
All our respect to japanese people and welcome to Morocco once the boundaries are open. In fact our country has different colours of music due to its deversified culture and geographical location. As a matter of fact it resulted many types of music each one completely different from the other. I can mention for example : Moroccan Andalous music Granadian glee Malhoun glee Folkloric music (this one comprises many tribal and regional musics) Moroccan Hebrew music Popular music Gnaoua music ... Difficult to limit this list. So the Moroccan songs you may find in the trend are influenced by the rich mixture of Moroccan music. I recommend you to discover the other songs of Saad el Mejared, Fnayer(yed el henna), MANAL (taj, Nta...) Hoba Hoba spirit (bienvenue à casa) Douzi(lmouja, amar)...
React to MANAL- 360 she's a rapper from Morocco Elyanna - ana lahali she's from palestine Haifa wehbe- touta from Lebanon Myriam fares - goumi from Lebanon
By the way the last song it's a kind of moroccan pop music , we have a variety of pop according to each part of the country . So in the last song he's talking about love ( lghram ) in our dialect...

Decapotable is a word we use it in Moroccan to describe a convertible car , it's a french word , but we actually use many french and spanish words in a common way , and in France and Spain they use arab/Moroccan words.

...
this is my own translation for the last song "WA YA LGHRAM" /MAHDI MOZAYINE/
i made it for you guys cause i liked your cute reactions hh i am Nawar from morocco
....
For God’s sake, tell him i want to see him again
Tell him that it is pretty hard on me
I made the nights thinking about him ; missing him burnt my heart
I am locked to him ..which made my heart burning even more
….
I fear he would have forgotten me
While I am so far away he is doing well
And I am up late singing and saying:
Ohh Love (the feeling not the person) what m addicted to ?!!
Look at his black eyes have done to me
You have tired me out.. you have tired me out
I don’t know my arse from my elbow (idiom means I do know nothing anymore)
….
If the lover miss his beloved; what trick can he use ? (means he can’t help it)
I am persevering (trying hard to bear this feeling)
Only God knows what I am going through
And who is defeated by love, where can he find the cure
YOU, the governor of my heart.. (please)Consider my state a little bit!
…
Ohh . you who have forgotten me, how long (it will take to remember me)
Even if your heart were a rock (idiom means tough and harsh)
Swear on God and tell me where you are
It’s too long you since you have been gone
Yeah that's morroccane 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦❤🔥
The dance is called “reggeda” you should also react to “Berber” music it’s a different culture and language that they speak in the north side of marocco we got some Fire to 🔥😎
they'll be shook 😭😭😭
Reggada is Northern Moroccan war music (rif tribe) and the song of lamjarred is inspired by an Amazigh song. Morocco has more than just one amazigh speaking region
yos Sarang i said you should react to Berber am amazigh music to I didn’t say there’s just one Berber speaking cause I know there are way more different kinda Berber lol, read good before you react and comming at with wrong info !!!
The best music
Amazigh music
Thanks for sharing our best tradition.great love from morocco
احبكم❤❤ متابعتكم من المغرب 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
i loved you reaction guys , maybe one day you can visit morocco and enjoy it
Viva Morocco 🇲🇦
Awesome reaction! I'd say that this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's lots of interesting stuff to discover about Morocco and Moroccans, including music of course.
Try these songs:
Laychafi by Betweenatna (Morocco's System of a Down haha)
Black Mossiba by Hoba Hoba Spirit (they also have other great hits)
Maalem معلم by Saad Lamjarrad
...
The second song is moroccan 🇲🇦 and algerian 🇩🇿
I like your reaction good luck ❤👏👏🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
React to faouzia - tears of gold (stripped) and bad dreams !! She’s a moroccon singer
But the song isn’t
She doesn't make moroccan music
And Sherine !
You guys are so kawai haha❤️ thank you for this reaction
Bonjour et bienvenue au Maroc, le pays de la bienveillance et de la tolérance.
La musique, la culture et le sport créent l'amour, le respect, l'amitié, la fraternité... entre les peuples du monde. Merci pour le partage.

I love Saad Lamjarred😩
hello, it's very beautiful, i wait other reaction video about Moroccan Music :)
listen to morocco's rap it's really good , i'll give u some names to get stared , elgrandetoto , donbigg , dizzy dros , madd , ouenza , draganov
This is a late 20's early 30' music style, in Morocco what's actually popping within the younger generation is moroccan rap, you should give it a shot you'll definitely appriciate it.
From🇲🇦🇲🇦💗
Both of you guys are so cute especially this boy he's so funny 😂

4:02 salam and salam alaikom means hi or hello
Salm wow thanks very much for your help from mrs elhayani hanane anne and my husband to be rob Douglass bouth from Birmingham uk and thanks very much
Dima Mghrib 🇲🇦❤️🦁
I am so proud of my lovly country❤️❤️❤️🎊🎶
Wow so cute ❤❤❤
All our respect to japanese people and welcome to Morocco once the boundaries are open.
In fact our country has different colours of music due to its deversified culture and geographical location.
As a matter of fact it resulted many types of music each one completely different from the other. I can mention for example :
Moroccan Andalous music
Granadian glee
Malhoun glee
Folkloric music (this one comprises many tribal and regional musics)
Moroccan Hebrew music
Popular music
Gnaoua music
...
React to MANAL- 360 she's a rapper from Morocco
Elyanna - ana lahali she's from palestine
Haifa wehbe- touta from Lebanon
Myriam fares - goumi from Lebanon
By the way the last song it's a kind of moroccan pop music , we have a variety of pop according to each part of the country . So in the last song he's talking about love ( lghram ) in our dialect...
Nice 🇲🇦
I never listened to Japanese music. I will try to soon too . Thanks 👍
